Aurora POV

We had gather together in Daxtons office to discuss our findings. Daxton and Meda had discovered that the substance was indeed witch craft powder known  to be found in a certain region of Iceland. It is a substance that hides your scent as well as allow the person to be invisible to the naked eye. Meda said it is a substance that could act as a fog  while the person could be standing right in front of you. It can make you think like their is a presence in front of you but your eyes can't see it, or even feel them breathe on you. It was a dark portion.
Carlos explained our findings of the substance in the treetops and it leading to Ava's window and how he thinks its another Royal who is behind this. Travis did some research into where they may have entered from the north east side of the border . Now that Travis has mated with Sam he also has the Royals gift of sight, smell and strength. So now we are going through which Royal would do this. When suddenly Carlos had a mindlink and he said

"Ava" and ran we all took off after him he lead us to the far north east border and there we found guards with their throat slashed and Ava standing a mile away crying. I ran as fast as I could and scoped her up in my arms she was covered in dirt, and I cried holding her tightly to me. Then everyone surrounded me and Ava and hugged us both. Then she was passed around to everyone, as each one of us covered her in kisses and hugs while she giggled with happiness at our playfulness.

We returned back home with Ava, we checked her to see if she had any cuts or bruises. We feed her and then took her upstairs to bath her. There was a letter hanging from a chain around her neck, which we didn't see until we removed her clothing. It read

I return Ava to you in one piece as a sign of goodwill. But what I want is Aurora by the next full moon I will return and I will claim what is rightfully mine. If you don't give me Aurora peacefully I will destroy everything you hold dear to you. Starting with your pack members.

I was shaking with fear, I wasn't scared about my life, I was invincible it was the life of my pack members. I've come to love each and every one of them of they lost a life because of me I would never forgive myself.

"Hey what are you thinking about? I can tell its not a good thought, don't you think about giving yourself up to the psychopath"

"Hmmm" I nodded

"I mean Aurora I just got you back you are not going anywhere"

He gave my chin so I was looking in his eyes and he knew how I felt even without looking at me. Our mate bond was connecting my feelings with him.
