Harry's POV

I trudged up the stairs with heavy feet to Umbridge's office, I knocked on the door and heard

"Come in," I sat down in front of the pink toad's desk and took a look around the room. From top to bottom it was pink, there were also numerous cat saucers hung across the walls

"Good evening, Mr Potter, You're going to be doing some lines for me today, Mr Potter," I sighed and went to pull out one of my quills when she stopped me

"No, not with your quill. Going to be using a rather special one of mine. Now I want you to write, 'I must not tell lies,'" She instructed

"How many times?" I asked

"Well, let's say for as long as it takes for the message to sink in,"

"You haven't given me any ink," I stated waiting for an inkpot

"Oh, you won't need any ink," She replied. I ignored that and began to write out I must not tell lies. After about the third time of writing it out my hand began to itch and I winced in pain, I eventually stopped writing and watched my hand as it went red and scratched into the skin of my hand ere the words, I must not tell lies.

"Yes?" Umbridge asked looking down at my hand and then back up to me.

"Nothing," I replied stonily.

"That's right. Because you know, deep down you deserve to be punished. Don't you, Mr Potter? Go on,"

Aurora's POV

I was sat with Hermione and Ron at the Gryffindor table in the Great Hall while Harry had left for his detention with Umbitch. I sighed and turned the page in my book when Hermione tapped me on my shoulder

"What?" I asked not taking my eyes off the page in front of me.

"Malfoy is staring at you," she replied. I looked up subtly from my book, pretending to take a sip from the goblet and I glanced around the room to see that he was in fact staring at me.

"Why is he?" I asked putting the goblet down.

"Maybe because he wants to talk to you? Or maybe because he likes you?" I glared at her

"What? They're both possible things,'' She shrugged, making me blush and roll my eyes.

''Sure,'' I sighed standing up.

''I'm going to the common room, I'll see you later,'' I then headed out and off to the common room where I hoped to snuggle up by the fire and read my book.

''Hello Potter,'' A voice said from beside me. I groaned

''Am I really that unpleasant to be around?'' Draco chuckled.

''No, I just wanted to go to my common room and read,'' I replied holding my book to my chest.

''Well I won't stop you from that, I just wanted to see you. We haven't spoken since we got to school which is surprising because normally we would have by now,'' He replied as we walked through the almost empty corridor.

''I suppose you're right,'' I shrugged

''It's just been busy so far even though nothing has really started,''

''You mean your brother's trial? My father told me about that,'' Draco said

''Of course, he did,'' I muttered.

''He was asking after you, you know. Which is odd because he doesn't normally care at all about my school friends,'' Draco said calmly putting his hand in his pocket. I shrugged and the picture of him in the graveyard came to mind, I clenched my jaw.
