Save Me From Myself

Movie Night

  After coming up with the plan to ditch Gage's house party and turn it into a movie night, we went back inside to find Adley.

  When we finally spotted her she was starting to strip on the beer pong table. There was a huge crowd around her, so Gage pushed through, grabbed her by the thighs and hoisted her over his shoulder.

  It was the funniest thing watching him struggle to keep her up there while she thrashed and kicked. He would let out little curses here and there with particularly hard blows.

  After one last kick to the stomach, while shoving her in the back seat of her own car, he slammed the door and said "That woman is crazy! You're taking her up to her room when we get back!"

  Sloan and Gage rode in Finns car, Taylor drove Adley's car and I sat in the passenger seat.

  Adley was now sleeping, probably worn out from her one sided fight with Gage, so it was quiet in the car. I looked over at Taylor, his eyes were focusing on the road, his face relaxed. He noticed me staring and smirked.

  "I'm glad you're back Dani. I missed you." He spoke so softly.

  I turned my face away, a smile creeping on to it.

  We pulled into the student parking and met in front of the cars to game plan. It was after curfew. We'd all have to sneak in and manage to sneak in a drunk Adley as well.

  We quietly made or way across campus. Finn was the one carrying Adley this time. When we made it to the Hall Taylor slowly opened the door and peaked inside. Turning around he gave us a thumbs up, quietly we all slipped in as he held the door.

  We made it to the elevator fine, laughing. But when the doors opened to the second floor our faces fell. The DA was standing there wide-eyed and shocked. He looked between us and then saw Sloan.

  "Oh it's just you Sloan. Did you have fun with your friends?" He smiled.

  The boys looked like their heads were going to explode they were so confused.

  "Yeah it was really fun. We decided to come back early and have a movie night instead." She said going up to him and kissing his cheek. Then she walked around him and waved for us to follow.

  The boys stepped out cautiously, while I walked past him without batting an eye.

  "Goodnight Sloan, have fun!" He called down the fall before the elevator doors shut.

  We walked in silence after that to mine and Sloan's room. Once we got there and everyone was inside, Taylor shut the door

  "What the hell just happened there and why aren't we in massive trouble?" He says utterly dumbfounded.

  "Oh, he's my brother. Don't worry about it. He won't write anyone up." She smiles and sits on her bed.

  "That's so cool, we have our very own get out of jail free card!" Finn quietly exclaims while putting Adley into my bed.

  Sloan blushes and Finn smiles wider. Everyone is watching their exchange with knowing smirks.

  "Ok" Taylor claps breaking the tension like a bomb. Both Sloan and Finn jump. "Everyone get changed into comfy clothes, grab snacks and meet up in our room-" His arm wraps around me "- in 20"

  The boys head out. Me and Sloan get changed. I put on PJ shorts and a tank top. Sloan wears plaid pants and a long sleeve. I make sure Adley has a glass of water and some aspirin on the nightstand before we shut off the lights and leave.

  We walk into the dorm to see the boys already there. Finn is wrapped up on the floor in a blanket, Gage is hooking the tv up to the computer and Taylor is sitting on his bed, reclining against the wall.
