The party was about 20 minutes from the campus. We took Adley's Jeep, since she was the only one who really knew where we were going.

When we pulled up the party was already in full swing. Drunk people stumbling out the front door, a girl puking in the bush next to the steps, and loud music thumping inside.

As soon as we walked inside Adley pulled us into the kitchen to acquire drinks. One for Sloan and two for her. She handed me her keys knowing I wouldn't be drinking. I put them into my jacket pocket and zipped it closed.

We found our way over to an open couch in between a game of beer pong and what seemed to be strip spin the bottle, or what was left of it. Gross.

Sloan hugged my shoulder and pointed towards the back of the room. I followed her line of sight and made eye contact with electric blues. My heart jumped and I tore my eyes away. I gave her a look and she nodded.

While making my escape out the back door I looked over my shoulder and saw Sloan's little form trying to block Ryland from following. I knew it was stupid to keep running. I had to talk to him eventually but I wasn't ready yet.

As I quickly darted around the back yard to find an escape, I slammed right into someone almost knocking me over.

"Whoa slow down there-" My eyes shot up at the owner of the voice "-Dani?" Fuck. I just had to slam right into Finn.

I tried to back away and run but his hand closed down around my wrist, stopping me. "Dani wait please. Dont run away."

I turned around and looked up at him. His eyes were sad. His usual smile gone. This wasn't Finn. This wasn't who I remember. Then it dawned on me, I did this. I did this to him.

"Dani. Please." He pleaded. Alright Dani it's enough. It's time to talk.

"Alright but I'll only talk if it's all three of you." I say while looking at my feet. Defeated.

"Deal. Let's go take a seat by in the gazebo. I'll call Ryland." He says while directing me towards the wooden structure. Still having yet to release my wrist. Holding me like I'll run away if he does.

He pulls out his phone and clicks on Rylands contact. "Hey come to the gazebo out back. I've got something you're gonna wanna hear. Bring Gage."

"Why so cryptic? Gage is here to?" I question

"I want to see his face when he realizes you're here. And yes Gage is here too, it's his house after all." He chuckles. Smile coming back for the first time tonight. I missed it. I missed him.

Ryland came walking up to the gazebo with Gage in tow. "Whatda' want man. I was looking for Dani, shes-" Then he notices me sitting next to Finn "-here." He whispers out.

"Oh my god Dani! Man you caught her! You amazing son of a bitch! I could kiss you!" Ryland exclaims.

"Yeah man please don't. You calling me amazing is enough" Finn waves his hand to ward of Ryland.

"Hey Dani." Gage nods to me.

"Dani here says she's ready to explain why she's been putting us through hell for the past month but only if it's to all three of us." Finn gestures to me and I slink down into my seat. Putting them through hell?

"Is that true?" Rylands eyes are hopeful when he looks at me.

I nod my head and they take a seat across from us.

"First I just wanted to say I'm sorry. I thought I was doing the right thing." I look up to see Finn and Ryland confused.

"Right thing by what?" Finn questions.
