"Babe come on! We're gonna be late!"

"Coming coming!" I say running around trying to find my heels.

Taylor comes up and looks at me searching frantically. He smile fondly, scoots me aside and grabs my black heels from under the bed.

"Ugh thank you. What would I do without you?" I say kissing his cheek and grabbing me heels.

"Honestly I don't know." He smirks. "Now let's go."

We take off running down the hallway. We make our way into the courtyard, the others are already waiting for us. Me, Sloan and Adley link arms and start walking towards our destination.

Our matching robes and caps symbolize our hard work the past 4 yrs. The late night gossip, exam crunch the night before the exam, and the growth of our relationship.

The boys follow behind us in their normal clothes, having graduated last year. The party that night was rough, Finn got so drunk he stripped and danced on the table to Benny and the Jets. It was a memory forever sealed away in my mind.

Now it was the girls turn. The years flee by so quickly. I'm honestly going to miss this place. It was the first place I truly felt at home. The university may be over but my family was still beside me and always would be.

I planned on staying in Washington, as did Taylor, Finn and Sloan. Gage and Adley were headed to northern California, but promised to visit often.

Walking up to the crowd of people all dressed a like. It started to really sink in. This chapter of my life was ending. Uncharted territory awaited ahead.

Taylor came up behind me, wrapping his arms around my waist. "Nervous?"

I shook my head. How could I be nervous, I had him by my side. And the others were never to far away either. He kissed my temple and said they were going to take their seats.

The boys walked away and we started to get into alphabetical order. This was going to take a while, our graduating class was large.

The valedictorian gave their speech and then they started calling names. 5 mins in "Sloan Andrews" She got up and we all cheered. She walked across the stage, accepted her diploma and walked off.

15mins later "Adley Mathews" She got up and we repeated the cheers. She walked across the stage, accepted her diploma, stuck her tongue out, and then walked off.

10 mins later it was my turn "Daniella Shey" I got up, heard the cheers, looking to the crowd seeing the guys. But next to them was Cole and my grandpa. I felt my eyes tear up. I walked across the stage, accepted my diploma, then walked off.

After the ceremony ended we all regrouped. Cole took a ton of pictures and we all laughed. My grandpa pulled me aside "I'm so happy you found a place you feel comfortable. All I ever wanted was for you to be happy."

I hugged him tightly and cried. He hugged me back, patted my shoulder then congratulated me. Taylor walked up to us "mind if I steal him away Dani?"

I looked at him confused but nodded "sure"

They walked off talking and I turned back to my group. They were discussing where the party was going to take place tonight. No one had a location picked out.

"What about the old school building at the back of campus?" I supplied

"What old school building?" Finn questioned.

  "I'll show you. Follow me."

I walked and waved for them to follow. Then texted Taylor where we were headed. When we got to the building their jaws dropped.

"I didn't even know this was here." Sloan said

"Amazing how you can miss a whole ass building." Finn joked.

"It's perfect!" Adley clapped her hand together excitedly.

I watched the scene and couldn't help but laugh. The caused Gage to wrap his arm around my shoulder and ruffle my hair. I only laughed harder.

Later that night we had the building fitted for a party. It was just us so we didn't need much room. My grandpa decided to retire early, telling us to enjoy being young.

It was early in the party still when Finn pulled me aside. "I need you to go grab some more beer."

  "What why me?"

"Because you're the only one other than Ryland who hasn't had anything to drink and I can't find him anywhere."

Now that he mentioned it I hadn't seen him in a while either. I sighed "fine I'll go."

  "Thank you! You're the best!"

I walked out of the building and across campus, heading for me car. It took 45 mins to drive to the store, grab the beer and drive back. "They better love me" I groaned to myself on the walk back to the building.

Walking inside, I could still hear the music going but not any voices. Maybe they stepped out really quick? Walking up to the room we were in, I found the room empty. "Guys? Hello"

Then the lights dimmed and a slow song came on. What's happening. I turned around at the sound of someone walking into the room. It was Taylor.

"Oh hey babe, do you know where everyone went?"

"There around here somewhere." He smiled, he was acting weird "want to dance?"

"Sure" We danced through the song, the next one that played was also slow but not slow enough to slow dance to.

We stopped and I went to go look for the guys when Taylors grip on my wrist stopped me. Turning back around to ask what was up, I noticed he was no longer standing. Instead kneeling. My heart skipped and my nerve lit up.

  "Taylor?"

"Dani. I'm so fucking nervous. I've planned this day in my head hundreds of times." My eyes started to water. He grabbed my hand "Dani, I love you. So god damn much it unreal. You are everything to me and have been since the first day I met you." He smiled softly

"Hell I wanted to mess with you by putting the tie in the door because I had a huge crush on you." I smacked his arm and he laughed. "But you were so different from all the other girls. You didn't fall at my feet or swoon when I talked to you. You challenged me."

I could feel the tears beginning to drip down my cheeks. "You're it for me Dan. You were made for me and I you. Will you marry me?"

My hand came up to cover my mouth and stop the sobs. I nodded my head so fast "Yes, oh my god yes!" The grin that split Taylors face was beautiful and bright. He pulled the ring from his pocket placing it on my finger.

The claps and whistles sounded from around us. I turned to see everyone celebrating, even my grandpa. Taylor scooped me up in his arms and kissed me without abandon.

"You make me so happy Dani Shey." He said staring intensely into my eyes.

"And you make me question reality Ryland Taylor." He smirked and kissed me again.
