Finn and Millie are getting ready for their date, their new clothes and PERFECT!
Finn organises the hotel for this special moment after he looks himself in the mirror
"Okay... This should look good" he fixs his hair, some curls messed, he fixs his bluejeans nightshirt
"Okay I'm ready"
He opens her chat but not resly the last text
<<Are you ready? Because I am and I can't wait... I don't wanna wait so can I come? I wanna see you now 😩😂❤️>>.
She receives the text and doesn't wait a minute
<<Yes but are you sure you wanna come? It's not early and I can reach you in some ways>>
<<Hey! What did I say? I wanna pick up you because I wanna spend with you every second because we won't have many possibilities❤️>>
<<Okay my gentleman ahahahah❤️, I'll wait you>>
<<Okay, I'll be here soon! Get ready to spend the worst time in the world>>

He doesn't read the last text so she supposes he is already coming.
"Hey mom I'll go out soon" Millie shouts
"And Sadie?"
"We'll meet on the road"
"are you sure? The sky will be darker soon"
"Don't worry, it's okay"

<<I'm coming>>
"Bye mom! Bye dad! See you later"
"be careful" Robert shouts before she closes the door behind her
"Is really she?" Finn pretends to be shocked just joking to make this comfortable, his anxiety doesn't help
"it is, it is" she smiles pretending to strut
"Run, come here!" Finn suddenly shouts and opens his arms, she only chuckles and starts running towards him and they meet in the best hug ever
"I missed you" he says touching lightly her hair with his mouth
"I missed you too" she smiles and distances her face from his one. They lose in each other for some seconds and she kisses him lightly, another chaste kiss and another one.
Every time when they together their hearts can't stop beating in their ribcages, the butterflies can't stop flying in their stomachs, like every second punches in their abdomen but good punches, they can really breathe when they are together, the world just dissapears because what really means is that they are together... So what will happen when they won't together. They are sure they'll feel always the same but they also know that is hard and they have to work to make this real.
Finn takes her hand and looks her
"You're... Just wonderful" he says with a little and shy smile
"thanks" she bends her head and a smile appears on her face, she raises her head and looks him in his eyes
"you too! This fits so good on you!" she says with a big smile
"really?" he looks his outfit
"yes"
"Yeah yeah I knew it" he jokes
"stupid" she laughs and hits softly his shoulder
"So... Do you wanna go?" he says with a little smile
"sure"
He takes her hand and starts walking. The walk has been really quiet only with Finn looking her and smiling and same Mills, sometimes their eyes met.
"We are here" he says stopping his feet
"oh here seems so good! Never seen before" she giggles
"so do you want to proceed?" he just behaves like a prince with her prince
"Okay" she smiles at him; he places behind her and with his slowly movements with his hand moves her in front of him then he accoroaches to her and they start walking hand in hand.
They reach the hotel and when Millie paases the door couldn't talk, what she is seeing it's incredible: the place is dark but there are little lights around the little table, one candle at the center (she supposes they will eat by candlelight), with a big vase with flowers, full of color and full of life, there is a good smell and all of this looks amazing.
He enters after her
"Hey, are you okay?" he says with a little smile, she turns towards him with shiny eyes almost crying
"Hey..." he says but he doesn't finishes the phrase that her arms were around him
"this is amazing Finn" she whispers
"it is?" he says squeezing her more
"yes Finn yes" she giggles and looks in his eyes
"you did this for... Me" she smiles
"of course" he says whispering
"Thanks, this is wonderful" she still smiles and kisses him
"Okay well it's late c'mon, we're aren't even ready to eat!" he laughs
"what?" she laughs too
"We have to finish" he exclaims
"really?" she laughs more
"yes, let's go" he takes her hand and brings her in the little kitcken after turned on the lights
"What we should do?" she asks genuinely
"Not so much! We have to supervise the gravy for the meat" he walks around the kitchen to take something and do things that Millie isn't understanding.
They place near to the hob and try being the best chefs ever but the best cooks laugh so much where they cook?
"Oh god be careful!" he laughs trying distancing her from squirts
"hey I don't need help" she laughs
"Are you sure?" he says followed by a laugh
"yes I'm sure! I know how to do this" she pretends to sulk
"the baby is mad oh no" he approaches to her and she looks at him
"really mad!"
"oh no" he smiles
"come here" he hugs her from behind
"you're distracting me!" she shouts followed by a laugh
"I'm not, it's you... You're giving me attention" he laughs a little in her ear
"really funny" she chuckles while she turns the gravy and receives a kiss on her cheek
"Okay now I have to supervise the meat" he laughs and approaches to the dish.
After a while everything is ready and Finn brings her to the table and moves her chair
"oh thanks" she replies to the cute gesture and smiles
"you're too cute with me" she laughs while sees him sitting in front of her
"Absolutely not! I should do more, always more and more for you" he says aloud, too excited of their moment together and because he doesn't agree with her: he will do everything for her, always and forever.
She only smiles at his words, it's unbelievable what's happening between us; she dated with other people but it hasn't never been like this. When she is with him it's everything normal, natural, spontaneous. She feels herself when she is with him and she feels so happy and grateful to have him. It's amazing having him beside, always here for her, he really cares about her not like other people...
"Thanks" she smiles but bows her head
"for what?" he chuckles
"for everything" she slowly start staring at him
"you shouldn't thank me" he smiles
"Finn... What you do every day, what you always did..." she doesn't know what to say
"Hey don't worry... It's just... I-I need you're good"
Their eyes still don't meet, he tries looking her gaze but she looks the table, the flowers, the candle just lighted by Finn... Every thing but not him.
"you know... I've met bad people" she laughs but of course it's a sad laugh
"our life it's not this best like every person thinks, am I wrong?"
"you aren't..." he whispers
"and I've been so stupid, Finn..." she sighs
"you... You have always been here, always beside me" she forces a smile just thinking she is stupid, she trusts people too soon, she always hated this thing of herself
"Yes Mills and this won't end, okay? Even... Even if this won't work, okay?" he forces a laugh trying comforting her. She still doesn't talk so he decides to talk first
"Okay listen to me now. Life is hard and we know it, we knew it since the first moment this kind of life is started. We have to fight this, you know... Together, and we can do it! I know it. Life is full of barriers, choices, change and this stuff, there are bad moments, yeah but we have family, friends... And the special person if you are lucky to have one and in this case you have one" he smiles taking a breath just waiting a minimal expression but nothing, so he approaches his hand to her one, lays his palm on her hand placed on the table. He squeezes it
"now we're here, what happened it's happened and we can't change the past and if we could, wouldn't that be great?" he laughs a little
"by the way... This would be too easy, right?"
And it's now that she raises her head, finally he can see her eyes; he squeezes more her hand
"the past is the past now it's the present and do you know what means?" she replies with a weird gaze because she isn't understand what is the point
"this means we can change the future, right? Can we?" he smiles reassuring her
"We can" she whispers and smiles. She raises her hand to intertwine their fingers
He repeats
"we're here Millie. It's our moment, yeah?"
"Yeah"
"Yeah" he whispers and end the conversation with a smile.
