Chapter two - Unexpected Guests

Y/n pov

You were now twirling your throwing knives mid air gently making it spin, it was slow, slower than a slug, but it was spinning and not out of control. You noticed it was mid day and after lunch you noticed you were going to run low on food soon which meant a shopping trip. You went back to the living room where you tended to train and heard a click making to drop the knife of the floor.

Another click, and another, some one was unlocking your front door. You picked up your knives, your wand, you put your wand in its pocket and got three throwing knifes ready.

The door opened and the wood piece was split in two you gulped and only seeing shadowy figures you launched the three knives.

You pulled out your wand next and looked around growing panicked. You heard a all too familiar voice.

"Y/n? It's us." You looked at the door letting the people walk into the light, Lupin, Moody, some young women with short Violet hair and a tall dark man you raised your wand.

"No... it's a lie." You saw moody and his walking stick, one of your knives stuck in it the other in the door frame and the this one was on the floor meaning someone stopped it.

"Y/n please." Lupin took a step closer and you took a step back.

"They've used Polyjuice potion before." You said shakily you noticed your shaky hand and had your wand pointed at them you looked towards the nearest stairway and you knew it led upstairs but you needed to get your bow. You shifted and yelped from the pain but just ran up the stairs. You shifted back grabbing your bow and you aimed it down the hall at Lupin with his hands in the air.

"Y/n we don't have time for this please." Moody growled form downstairs.

"How do I know you're not with Voldemort?" You ask as Moody and the girl walked up behind Remus.

"You're Patronus is a dragon, I taught you that spell third year and you used it to save my life, along with Peter and Findri." Remus said. You lowered your wand.

"Why are you here?" You ask still standing a fair distance away from him.

"I'll explain everything but you have to trust us." Remus said making you take a deep breath.

You nodded and came towards them.

"You have a really nice house... though there's a lot of broken wood everywhere." The girl mentioned.

"Were you attacked?" Moody asked you not too trusting of him giving the imposter last year flinched at his voice.

"No... I just got mad... among other things." You said as you came upon the broken dinning room table.

"Where's your trunk?" The tall man asked.

"By the door, haven't moved it since I got home." You told them.

"Grab what you need to we're leaving." You didn't know if you'd leave but might as well. You got some clothes and pocketed the note of your sisters 'important names' and came back down stairs.

"How've you been Y/n?" Lupin asks. Your mind flashes to the outbreaks of anger, you crying and you shuttered.

"...quiet." You said looking at the dimly lit home

"What are we doing?" you asked.

"taking you away." Moody said.  You put our head down... Fudge got his way?

"to Azk-"

"No." said lupin sternly he must've hated the place more than you. "You'll see we are just waiting for the all clear." Lupin told you.
