Chapter thirteen - Harry Is Rescued

Y/n pov

You still cried yourself to sleep some nights, there were still certain words, certain phrases that caused you to space out into memories or flinch, you were only okay with a select few ever touching it comforting you, you'd flinch at loud sounds and quick movements which wasn't helpful with how quick the twins would try to use magic every two seconds now that they could but they did try to be more careful in your presence.

You weren't the best but if was better than being home on your own all the time. It had been a month and you had finally felt at home here, when you got the new. Harry Potter has been attacked by a dementor. Your heart dropped you were pissed not as much as Sirius and defiantly not as much as Dumbledore when he found out it was Mugundus fletcher who left his post for a quick buck. You were pissed but then you heard of the plan to get Harry you jumped up you ran to the doorway when they were getting ready to leave.

"I'll go." You offered and Moody looked back to see you at the doorway.

"No." He said simply.

"No?" You repeat.

"You're not an order member, and if the ministry or Voldemort hears about this, you'll become a target." Moody reminded you.

"Better me than him." You stated strongly.

"You'll be staying here along with Sirius." Kingsley said to you, making you frown.

"Sirius should be able to go-" You argued not noticing Sirius behind you.

"He is confined to this house, he doesn't leave." Moody's tone became warning.

"I'll go. He'll be safe Sirius." Remus promised looking at the raven-haired man behind you.

You stood at the door as they all left you wonder about running out but Sirius closed the door.

"He better be safe." You said to no one in particular.

"I trust Remus, Dumbledore and Moody." Sirius said standing in front of the door.

"He's been expelled this has to be against the rules, he saved himself and is getting punished for it by the ministry." You stated wondering how far the ministry would push this.

"Dumbledore will not let that happen." Sirius said sternly but you could hear the unsureness float from his tongue.

"He better not." You looked beyond him, the door seemed to be blank, you wondered if you ran how far could you run?

"I have to go another meeting is coming, you need to go upstairs with the others." Sirius intruded your thoughts.

"But-" You tried to argue but a voice from behind you drowned out your own.

"Y/n, there you are!" Mrs. Weasley said coming down the stairs. "Come upstairs dear." Molly said, you looked at Sirius as he walked away to the dinning room. You sighed going upstairs to your room. You looked down and just started looking through books and papers to ensure what has happening was indeed illegal even by the ministry's standards.

You heard people walk in from your room, you heard people talking and you knew Harry was here, but the thing was you wanted to hug him and apologise, but then it crossed your mind, what if he blamed you for the events as much as you blamed yourself. You could've been captured on your own, Voldemort wouldn't be back.

You were still reading not wanting to bother Harry when you heard,

"SO YOU HAVENT BEEN IN THE MEETINGS, BIG DEAL!! YOU'VE STILL BEEN HERE HAVEN'T YOU? YOU'VE STILL BEEN TOGTHER! WHILE I'VE BEEN STUCK AT THE DUSLEYS FOR A MONTH! AND I'VE HANDLED MORE THAN YOU TWO HAVE EVER MANAGED AND DUMBLDORE KNOWS IT – WHO SAVED THE PHILOSPERS STONE? WHO GOT RID OF RIDDLE? WHO SAVED BOTH YOUR SKINS FROM THE DEMENTORS?" Harry shouted, you could tell he was mad and decided you needed to see how he was doing. You slowly walked out of your room and flinched as the yelling continued.
"WHO HAD TO GET PAST DRAGONS AND SPHINXES AND EVERY OTHER FOUL THING LAST YEAR? WHO SAW HIM COME BACK? WHO HAD TO ESCAPE FROM HIM?" You heard Hermione mutter 'you weren't alone' but Harry ignored that fact. "BUT WHY SHOULDN'T I KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON? WHY WOULD ANYONE BOTEHR TELLING ME?" He asked
