Chapter forty nine - Just Us

You got back and when you did you found Draco in the common room and he looked pale and scared his head in his hands.

"Draco? Is everything alright?" You asked sitting beside him.

"Where were you? You disappeared I was worried." he said sitting up straight and looking at you.

"I was pulled away from Hogwarts unexpectedly, sorry." you said placing your hand over his.

"It's just, everything is happening and I can't risk losing you," he said, making you bite your lip, what did he mean by that?

"Losing me? Draco, what are you talking about?" You asked.

"...I ended up going home over the holidays." He admitted.

"Oh... oh baby I'm sorry." You said pulling him into a hug. "You don't have to talk about it. I understand that you may not even be able to. I just want you to know how much I love you. I'm here for you Draco." You said and he looked into your eyes and that's when you saw his eyes were red, he'd been crying.

"I love you too." He said with a light smile on his lips.

"I promise that no matter what it is you're not alone." You said. "Always, remember?" You smiled.

"Thank you, princess." He said, making you shake your head before kissing his jaw to his lips.

"I love you Draco Malfoy." You said your forehead resting on his. "I promise I won't leave you alone. Your problems matter to me." You told him.

"You're good at this," he laughed.

"At what?"

"Cheering me up." He laughed picking you up bridal style making you squeak.

"What are you doing?" You asked through a laugh.

"Getting more comfortable." He said setting you down on the couch and sitting down beside you.

"You could've just moved there you know." You laughed.

"Well, I wanted to carry you." Draco said looking from your eyes to your lips.

"Hmm yeah, you just want to prove that you're all big and strong."

"Like I need to prove it." He said crawling on top of you.

"Sure, how silly am I? Like the prince of Slytherin needs to prove anything," You muttered before kissing him.

"I'm gutted that you think I'm just a prince." He said laying on top of you, his breath tickling your neck.

"Would you prefer King?" You laughed.

"Only for you my Queen." He muttered making your cheeks heat up.

"Hehe, we'll have to see if I adore my prince enough to crown him king." You said your hand playing with his hair.

"Anything for you my dear," he said leaving a light kiss on your neck.

You and he sat up and faced each other. You didn't have to say anything but you just ended up in a very passionate snogging session, you knew more Slytherins would be coming in to see you but you didn't care. You heard the entrance open and Draco went to look and you turned his head to you.

"Only me and you right now." You said before kissing him again.

You felt his smile. His hands running through your hair and gently resting on your back being gentle and respectful while also snogging each other's brains out. You both decided to just lay down and he rested his head on your chest.
