Chapter fifty three - A Leaders Vow

Y/n pov

You woke up next to Draco, on the couch in each others arms, it was something you couldn't have imagined trying to talk yourself out of. You didn't want to wake him but knew you had to meet Findri by the woods soon enough.

You tried to carefully and slowly shift out of his grip but he pulled you closer to him. You shifted into a wolf and then slipped out of his grip, you shifted back and wanted to kiss the boy but just left him as you still need to get dressed and ready to run, shift and use your powers.

You threw on a dark long sleeve and some black jeans.

You then managed to go make it to the woods unseen and you ran yelling out to Findri.

"Findri!" You shouted looking through all the tall trees.

You ran on foot for a while and as you were getting deeper you had to stop yourself from running into a white centaur.

"Oh I'm so sorry-" You said as you backed up, only it wasn't a centaur but a unicorn. "Whoa." You said looking at it in amazement you slowly backed up and it seemed to be testing you, you were on the other end of its horn so best to be cautious.

The unicorn reared and you fell backwards slowly backing up when it stomped its hooves it looked at you. You then got up slowly and the Unicorn looked as if was about to charge but then bowed. You were stunned but carefully bowed back, you both went back to your original position and the unicorn let you come closer and pet it. You sit and noticed a wound on its back leg, small but was bleeding that silver metallic substance you've seen before.

"...Here goes nothing." You carefully place your palm over it and take a deep breath, you focus on only healing the cut beneath your palm. You opened your eyes there was a goldish glow from under your hand and when you let go you saw the cut was healed up.

You practically jumped up and smiled at the creature.

"You were amazing. You said making sure to wipe off any blood that got on you before hugging the creature.

"You've gotten better," Findri said from behind you, you laughed. The Unicorn whinnied, reared and then ran off.

"Well I've been practicing, I'm not as tired as I was last time, granted the injury is far less severe." You laughed.

"I arranged a meeting with my father and my home, my centaurs, we'll agree to hear you out, teach you about healing and energy." Findri told you.

"Should I get dressed more? Oh, Merlin!" You said a bit shocked it was right now.

"What you're wearing is fine, just remember to try and not use magic, don't attack anyone, some people are...they can be sensitive." Findri reminded you.

"Right," You said fiddling with your shirt and making sure your wand was in clear sight so they didn't assume you were touching it if you put your hands down.

"Here hope on my back and put this on." Findri said handing you a cloth for a blindfold.

He was racing and it was exhilarating and you held on nervously afraid you'd fly off at any instant. Eventually, he stopped and told you to take off the blindfold, so you did and hopped off him.

"I can do this... I have to," You muttered to yourself shaking off any nerves you have.

You walked in and saw a huge gathering of centaurs, you were nervous and Findri gently pushed you to a medium-sized rock that you could stand to actually look them in the eyes. You stepped up and looked across them all.

"Okay, first off I want to say thank you so much for giving me some of your time to speak freely and without fear." Yous said. "I think you all have heard the news, Voldemort is back."
