Chapter twenty eight - Our Song

Y/n pov

You woke up thrilled and wore a nice sweater and black pants. You stood up and went for your detention with Umbridge ignoring the fact that you had one with Snape at all that day.
You were writhing more and more, you wrote at least ten pages, you wrote so much, that blood from your hand dripped onto the page as you wrote, you looked outside and looked over at Umbridge.

"Let's see?" your hand was covered in blood the cut running deep, she took your hand and you didn't pull away. "I don't think this hurts you." She said simply.

"Professor, the sun is setting." You said looking outside.

"You may go." She said you grabbed your bag and ran out, you shifted and you winched running on a hurt paw. You kept running. You had only brought the small bag you'd needed on full moons you saw Peter pacing at the front. You shifted into a human and grabbed Peter's arm.

"Out now, run, follow me." You said before shifting again and running out. Peter was catching up, he did have quite the stamina. You made it to the whomping willow and you touched the knot before it could swing much. You stood back up.

"Get in." You said pointing to the hole near the roots.

"What?" He asked You saw he was starting to sweat.

"Get in, I'll explain later." You said quickly looking at the setting sun.

"You're scaring me." Peter sad looking into the darkness of the stump vs the forest.

"Get in or I'll kick ya in!" You warned pointing at the roots. Peter did as he was told and you followed him.

"I just don't get why we're here and not outside."

"The moons almost up, now lets get upstairs." You said pulling ahead of him.

"Why?" He asked again.

"The bedroom, the piano, it's the safest place for you to be." You told him.

"Okay." Peter said you saw he was sweating a lot.

You made it up with him and he was nearly on the ground, he was shaking.

"Anything I can do? What can I do?" you asked seeing as this wasn't a pleasant full moon.

"Just play," he laughed.

"Anything?" You asked.

"My favourite song." You smiled and sat down at the piano.

"Okay..." You took a deep breath.

You began to play and over the yelling and howling screams of Peter with a soft tune.

You soon stopped and went to Peter, he was on the ground and you nudged him. He stood on all four s and you pet his head.

"You did great Pete." You said as he went towards the piano and started to nudge the keys and you laughed. "You want me to finish the song?" You asked him. He nodded and you sat down at the piano.
