You knew now where you could go to help Draco with defense Against the Dark Arts... only by doing so it was the same place as Dumbledore's Army... this could put everyone in danger... of course Draco wasn't his father and it's not like he'd snitch on you. Would he? You know he's in danger, and if he doesn't know how to defend himself... He's smart but that doesn't mean he will be strong when Voldemort shows himself to the wizarding world.

Your mind was decided he needed to be prepared. If you went elsewhere it wouldn't have the tools you needed and bringing him to the shrieking shack could put him and Peter in danger.

You heard sniffling and it brought you out of the trance you were in, you walked towards it and found Cho Chang crying in an empty classroom.

"Cho...?" You asked opening the door and shutting it behind you.

"Oh-..." She said wiping her eyes you sat beside her.

"It's okay...You loved him... it's okay to be upset." You said rubbing her back gently. You knew exactly why she was crying.

"But he didn't love me." She cried wiping her eyes to no avail.

"Yes, he did. Trust me. He would talk about you a lot getting nervous to ask you out. He did." You reassured her never feeling more guilty about kissing him.

"He broke up with me." She said.

"What?" You asked confused.

"Five days before the final tournament... he was really sweet about it. I guess I have no right to be sad over his death." She sighed.

"You have every right to be-"

"C-Cedric left me, but only because he loved you." She said, you know she didn't mean it as harsh as it came off. You didn't mean for any of this to happen. You never meant to kiss Cedric it was tense, and he was there saying all the right things.

"He said something to you?" You asked her confused on who and how many people he told.

"He didn't have to. He kept looking at you an wanting your attention, he wanted you and knew it was unfair to me. I have no right to be crying over a boy who didn't even love me." She said. You felt less guilty about kissing him but still. You were in love with a different boy and still kissed him, maybe you were hoping for something more, you'd never understand why you kissed him that night.

"You can't think like that Cho. For awhile, no matter how long or short, Ced and you had a good relationship, he was crazy about you, you have to look at the positive." You said gently pushing back your thoughts.

"How could anything good come of what happened?" She asked you.

"I honestly can't tell you. I lost my family in a night." You said and Cho remembered that your father also died and she probably sounded selfish. "But in some ways, I got closer to another kind of family. I don't think it will ever be seen as a good thing. But it gives us all a reason to fight. To do our best to make sure it never happens again." You said looking at her red eyes.

She smiled at you through her teary eyes.

"If it helps you can hit me, I didn't realise about Cedric until the last tournament and I would never want to hurt you like that." You told her.

"No. You were one of his closest friends and you didn't make him break up with me." Cho said hugging you suddenly. You rubbed her back as she held you as she cried. "Don't beat yourself up for this. I don't blame you."

"Thank you, Cho... you know you can talk to me anytime?" You told her as you unhugged.

"Thank you, but really I'm fine, I just needed to get that off my chest..." She said. "I don't want to be rude but I could use some time alone."
