"You cannot let anyone find out about this," Hux declared while Astra, and him hurriedly tidied themselves up.

"I don't really have anyone to tell," Astra shrugged before smoothing out the wrinkles on her shirt.

"Well," Hux sighed as he brushed a loose hair out of his eye. Astra couldn't help but feel butterflies whenever Hux had to readjust his hair or outfit. She couldn't quite explain why she felt that way around him when he did things like that, but she could hypothesize. She liked seeing him messy, and untidy. It really humanized him. It was little ticks like those that made him look less like a General, and more like a normal man.

"Ren mustn't know under any circumstances," Hux grumbled as he pompously straightened his collar.

"And why's that?" Astra huffed, as she tightened her leather belt around her waist.

"You know why," Hux sighed while opening the cell doors. Astra inferred Ren may not be all too happy about her activities with Hux, but surely he wouldn't care too much. Why would he? It's not like Ren and her were dating. She wasn't tied down to anything or anyone.

"Will he get jealous or something?" Astra mocked precariously as she followed Hux out of the cell. But Hux selfishly ignored her questions.

"All clear," Hux began.

"She is a knight under the command of our Leader Kylo Ren," Hux added, and the troopers all bowed before him.

"My mistake General, I take full responsibility," the commander stepped forward, and bowed graciously,
before Hux dismissed them all.

Astra was pleasantly surprised when Hux held off chastising the commander. Of course Astra wouldn't have been upset if he did decide to give punishment (simply because the commander falsely accused her of being a rebel), but she didn't really care all that much.

As Astra watched the swarm of troopers disperse, Hux turned towards her in one jarring motion.

"I don't want to speak on the matter," Hux hissed under his breath as Astra rolled her eyes.

"Why not!" Astra exclaimed as she watched Hux frivolously place his fingers on his temples. It was clear he was trying to show her he was annoyed with her very presence.

"I made myself clear Astra, now return to your room," Hux grumbled obnoxiously before turning on his heels, and making his way back to the bridge.

Astra exhaled slowly as she rolled her eyes dramatically.

Did he completely forget what had just happened? He took her as he pleased, and now he's acting like he never did? Astra folded her arms across her chest as she resisted the urge to retaliate.

"Fine, be a child," Astra groaned half heartedly as she stomped her foot to the floor. She scowled at Hux who ignored her words completely.

"Asshole," Astra murmured under her breath as she turned to go back to her room.

...

Astra sat herself down on the couch feeling utterly defeated. She kept engaging with Hux as if they were friends, but she knew Hux didn't fancy her the same way she fancied him.

Astra felt herself emotionally bouncing between Ren, and Hux. One man meant power, and absolute control over the entire galaxy after they were to win the war. She'd have a partner in the Force, and she'd be able to change, and improve anything she pleased at will.

The other man meant power as well, but it was a different kind of power. It was power that wasn't given. She'd have to earn her respect, learn how to lead, and think quickly. The force was given to her, but leadership like Hux's was earned. She'd have to build relationships with her partners, and she'd have to learn how to command an entire army. It wouldn't be easy.

Both options sounded perfectly good to her, but every time she pondered the possibility of a future with one of them, the other man would cross her mind as well.

Ren would kill Hux if he were to find out about what she had just done with him, and Hux would most likely despise the both of them if Astra were to give herself to Ren.

Astra was fully aware of her mistakes. She wished she wasn't in the middle of any of this at all, but that boat had already sailed.

There was no going back after she had willingly let both men take her. Astra ran her hands through her hair as she leaned her back onto the couch.

Her neck hung over the edge of the furniture as she watched stretches of stars shoot past the glass window.

Light speed again

Ren clearly had strict plans to further the First Order. Astra had no idea what his plans were, but clearly it involved a lot of travelling around the galaxy.

Even though she didn't know Ren's specific plans, she knew one thing for sure. Her duty was to destroy the resistance.

But Ren seemed more set on destroying the girl. Or so she thought. Why else would Ren be so absolutely devoted to finding her. If he wasn't going to kill her, what was the point?

Astra sighed as she pictured the girl once more. She envisioned her body, and her blue lightsaber. Astra prayed this may jog some closed off sector of her mind. She knew this girl for sure, but she couldn't quite place how she knew her.

All of a sudden, a voice bearing a smooth, English accent called out to her.
