Astra sat for what felt like hours in a chair beside Hux's bed. She couldn't help but feel like this entire situation was her fault.

Her relationships with the men were so twisted, and complicated when it truly didn't need to be. Everything was going fine until Hux selfishly took her in her cell earlier that day.

Astra relapsed into stillness when she realized how long she had actually been in contact with the two of them. It literally had only been 3 days since she had met Ren.

In 3 days she fucked everything up for herself. She couldn't believe it.

When Hux began to stir, Astra nearly leapt from her chair. She approached the edge of his bed as he groggily rubbed his tired eyes.

"Hux?" Astra whispered as she stood overtop of him.

"Astra?" Hux exclaimed as he attempted to stretch his arms. He immediately brought his hands to his stomach once his pain had made itself apparent. The stitches on his abdomen were fresh, and any kind of movement would stretch them.

He groaned in agony as Astra towered above his poor, wounded figure.

If only Ren hadn't found out about the two of them.

"Y-you t-told him," Hux stuttered dryly as he shifted uncomfortably within the sheets.

"I didn't," Astra began sorely.

"He searched my mind," she finished while her eyes shifted away from his.

Hux's face was dormant of emotion, but his eyes told more story than his mouth ever could. He was in pain, and he was suffering. Astra knew Hux was wounded both emotionally, and physically.

She knew Ren had always been a major bully to Hux and his subordinates. As powerful as Hux was, Ren was basically his boss, and Hux constantly got kicked around like a toy. He was nothing but Ren's little play thing.

"I'm so sorry, Hux," Astra sympathized as she dropped her eyes to the floor. Hux's lips remained still as his eyelids began to fall. It wasn't long before he drifted off again, and Astra found herself alone once more. She knew it was useless to stay any longer.

She gazed at Hux longingly before turning away from him. His sorrow was almost tangible, and Astra didn't enjoy seeing him like this.

She walked away from Hux regretfully before sneaking her way back into the hallways.

This is all my fault

...

When she arrived back to her chambers, Ren was no where to be seen. The room had been left the same as it was when she had departed hours ago.

She placed her lightsaber down on the coffee table before she took a seat at the couch. She stared blankly at the blazing fireplace in front of her.

Everything felt so wrong. It was late, and she was tired, but Astra couldn't bring herself to sleep. Her body ached for rest, but her mind yearned for something it could not reach.

She wanted all of this to be ok. She didn't want Ren to fight with Hux anymore, and she didn't want any of this to be happening at all.

She sighed, and turned her head towards the window, where she saw nothing but harsh edges of planets, and millions of little, twinkling stars.

Astra smiled slightly at the smooth, natural designs of each and every planets surface. It was quite aesthetically pleasing to gaze upon such massive planets.

As she ogled in childish bliss, a thought suddenly rushed to her mind. Their were planets right in front of her eyes. If she were to escape right now, she'd be able to hide away temporarily on one of those nearby places.

Her tired muscles stung as she sprung up from the couch. She'd steal a tie fighter, and leave the ship without another word. Ren would eventually find out about her rushed departure, but it would be long after Astra had escaped.

She wished she could say a final goodbye, but she knew Ren wouldn't allow her to leave. Now that Ren was nowhere to be found, Astra saw this as the perfect time to escape. She could finally get away from all this drama, and maybe she'd finally be able to find her family. Maybe her parents had the force as well. Once she found safety, Astra would try and find them.

As her body rushed with thick rivers of adrenaline, she took deep breaths to calm her jumping nerves. She made sure her saber was securely fastened to her belt before leaving the room. She darted down the hallways, careful to avoid the corridor that led to Ren's chambers.

She sprinted past a group of troopers who all saluted her as she dashed by.

The word of my capture must've already gotten out!

Hux must have alerted the rest of the ship that Astra, a student of Kylo Ren's, was not to be touched. It was like Astra had the entire ship as her personal bodyguard! She could most definitely get used to it.

As Astra raced past the bridge, she noticed a strange presence observing her. Her heart jumped into her throat as the feeling became more than just paranoia. She ran harder, and faster towards the tie fighter loading bay as she desperately tried to ignore whatever feeling she was adopting.

Finally, after running herself dry, she made it to the bay. She spied a large array of perfectly identical fighters. All of them were aligned in impeccably formal rows of 3.

Upon choosing a fighter, Astra hopped in nonchalantly, and untethered the craft from the bay. Her eyes twinkled in the starlight as her fingers ran across the smooth, and modern interior of the craft. She smirked mockingly as she eyed the surprisingly simple instrument board.

A child could fly this thing!

She thought, as she wrapped her fingers around the steering mechanisms of the craft. Suddenly, Astra felt the hairs on the back of her neck begin to stand up.

Astra could feel his presence somewhere nearby, but she didn't know where he was exactly. She was certain he didn't board the craft, and she knew he wasn't in front of her, but she still couldn't see him.

Astra panicked at the thought of Ren catching her during her escape, so she powered up the fighter and prepared herself for take off. As she thruster her hands forwards, the ship began to move.

Come on, I can do this

Astra thought as the ship gradually began to hover. She thrusted her hands harder, and the ship began to move forwards.

As the craft slowly inched closer and closer towards the edge of the loading bay, she smiled greedily at the thought of leaving this life behind.

She wouldn't have too train, fight, or come in between Ren and Hux's childish arguments anymore. She was done, and she didn't have to deal with anymore drama.

Or so she thought.

"You're really not as smart as you think you are," Astra jumped suddenly as Ren's voice echoed from behind her head.
