Astra curled her fingers into her palms as she clenched her jaw tightly. As Ren made his way out of the training room, Astra attempted to follow.

But she was met by the unsettling slam of the metal doors ahead of her.

"Fucking child," Astra grumbled under her breath as she poked, and prodded at the complication of buttons that lay untouched by the side of the door.

The door wouldn't budge. Ren had somehow locked her inside.

"Come on Ren!" Astra bellowed forcefully as she pounded her fists against the steel.

"Let me out!" She pleaded, but her sorrow was unnecessary. Ren had already left, and he was probably now on his way to destroy Hux.

Astra poked at the buttons once more before turning her back to the door. She let her breath leave her lungs gradually as she slunk herself down to the floor.

Her back, and head rested against the icy steel as her arms flopped onto the ground. Ren was ruthless, and Astra had no idea what he might decide to do with Hux.

Maybe he would hurt him, or maybe he'd just have another one of his tantrums and be done with it. Whatever Ren was going to do, Astra knew it wasn't going to be pleasant for Hux.

Astra couldn't help but feel tinges of guilt all throughout her body. Hux didn't deserve this. He had specifically told her to keep their rendezvous a secret, but of course Ren had his ways.

As Astra shamefully wallowed in defeat, her mind became aware of something that lay right in the palm of her hand.

Her lightsaber.

She sprung up with enthusiasm as she gripped the saber tight in her hands. She held it towards the door, and pressed the button.

Sorry door

The crimson blade shot out of the handle before instantly penetrating the steel. Astra began thrashing, and attacking her side of the door until a hole began to form.

Sparks flew, splattered, and sprayed all throughout the hallway and the training room as Astra barbarically tore the door apart bit by bit.

Each swing of the blade strained her weak wrists, but she continued to hack away at the raw metal, and wires until she had created an opening large enough for her to fit through.

Astra retracted her blade as she peered out of the massive hole she had just fabricated. She avoided the soiled, and sizzling wires as she pushed her way through the opening.

Once in the hallway, she began to run as fast as she could towards the bridge. Perhaps she'd be able to catch Ren before he made any rash decisions.

She sprinted as hard as she could through the wondrous mazes of identical corridors, and hallways until she finally reached the bridge.

Panting, and out of breath, Astra examined the area to see Hux, and Ren nowhere.

"Have you seen General Hux or Ren?" Astra panted feverishly as nearby imperial guards gave her judgemental glares.

"They've just left together," a guard managing a control panel chimed in.

"I believe Ren took Hux to the throne room," another guard piped up nervously.

"Thank you," Astra gasped as she took a beeline towards the throne room. She had been there once before as a guard. It was typical for stormtroopers to eavesdrop on the supreme leaders conversations from within. Of course it was incredibly risky, but it was always worth the effort. Somehow, hearing Kylo Ren get ripped to literal shreds by his former leader brought smiles to all the troopers faces. It was incredibly comical to say the least.

When Astra arrived to the room, she realized the door was mechanically locked from the inside. She pressed her ear against the door in attempts to hear the conversation within.

She only heard faint bickering between the men, but eventually her ear picked up the sound of something far more dangerous than Ren's degrading slurs. The sound of Kylo Ren's lightsaber powering up.

Oh god oh my fucking god

Astra panicked as she slammed her fists strenuously against the metal doors. She pounded, and whined until her fists began to bleed.

"Ren stop it!" She thundered as tears began to well in her eyes.

"Just let me explain!" Astra exhorted, and her futile pounding began to slow. Her fists were numb and bloodied. Her body was exhausted for she had used every last bit of strength she had left.

"Please don't fight," Astra whimpered feebly as the doors shot open.

Astra nearly fell backwards when Ren appeared in front of her. Blood dripped down the side of his mouth, and large gashes had appeared around his temples, and cheek bones.

"Ren..." Astra's coy voice dropped off as Ren pushed himself passed her.

"Ren!" Astra articulated as he began to walk back to the bridge. It was clear he had no interest in conversation.

She sighed in embarrassment as she ran a hand through her hair. She paused, and inhaled slowly as she calculated her next action. She turned her head towards the throne room as she viewed Hux who lay defeated in the middle of the floor.

"Hux," Astra exclaimed quietly as she jogged over towards his motionless body.

She took a knee next to him as she examined the harsh wounds Ren had inflicted upon him. Hux was far more damaged than Ren. Blood poured from multiple wounds around his face. He seemed to already be forming a black eye, and his lip was split clean open. As Astra stood over him, he groaned as he gripped his abdomen in pain.

"I'm so sorry," Astra wept weakly as she pried Hux's hands from his stomach. A large, throbbing gash stretched from the bottom right of his hip to just below the left side of his chest.

"Astra," Hux whimpered as blood dripped from the side of his mouth.

"I-I'll get a medic right now," Astra placed his hands back onto his stomach before she sprinted out of the room. Her hands shook by her sides as she ran as fast as she could towards the medical bay.

When she arrived, she sent medics to the throne room immediately. Astra awaited Hux's arrival for what felt like forever, and when he finally arrived, he was unconscious.

He was immediately placed upon a medical table for examination. A large group of  droids, and numerous doctors worked feverishly around Hux's wounded figure. The doctors shouted, and screamed flurries of phrases, and statements that Astra couldn't understand.

But she did understand one thing one of them had said. If she hadn't alerted them as soon as she had, Hux wouldn't have had a chance. He had already lost so much blood.

Astra sat in a nearby chair grief stricken. How could she have let this happen.
