I was stood outside the testing grounds after getting changed into my regular clothes. As far as I knew Ururaka still hadn't left and I wanted to speak a bit more with her.

"Oh, hey! Izuku!" She called out.

I turned around to face her.

"Thanks for saving me back there. You were really fast."

"I could have been there and back if I'd thought to fly." I said "How did you do on the test?"

"I'm not sure" she said "I think I got a lot of them though!"

"What does your quirk do?" I asked

"I can turn off the gravity on anything I touch and make it weightless."

"So all you had to do to kill a robot was activate your quirk and throw the thing upwards."

We started walking and after about fifteen minutes we arrived at my home.

"I gotta go. This is my stop."

Ururaka looked a bit crestfallen.

"Oh well then!" She said "If you have a phone I can just give you my number so we can hang out while we wait for our letters."

I handed her my phone and she registered her number onto it. Hers was the first number I had gotten since my mother had bought me the phone to call her in emergencies. I waved her goodbye and stepped inside my house.

"I'm back!" I called out to my mother.

"How did the exam go?"

"I think I did good but they say they'll get back to us in a week. Until then it's just life as normal."

I sat down on the couch and checked the TV for any news on villains. I sat there watching it until my mother called me in for food. We ate noodles. It was nice. I decided to go to bed early that day as I had a lot of training to do in case I got in to U.A.

When I awoke the next morning it was to my phone buzzing next to me. I assumed it was some alarm I had set and went to shut it off, in the process accepting the call from Ururaka.

"What the..." I groaned, sitting up.

"Hey Izuku!" Said her voice from the phone "Did I call at a bad time? You sound like you're still half asleep"

"You can say that again. What time is it?"

"It's 9:30. I'll call back in half an hour so you can wake up."

She hung up before I got a chance to reply.

"Well. That's that. Wish I could have slept a bit longer."

I got up and put my clothes on before going into the kitchen for some breakfast. My mother was eating shreddies at the table.

"Who were you talking to Izuku?" She asked "You don't have any friends, not since him"

"It was someone I met at the entrance exams. They said they'd call back in a bit"

"Sure. It's Monday so I've got to work. I'll be back at about 3. Take care. If you want to go out then remember to lock the doors and such."

"I will"

"I'll bring us pizza"

She shut the door, locked it and three minutes later Ururaka called. I suggested we meet at the place the entrance exams were held. She had said that her parents wouldn't let her out alone as they lived in a bit of a shady area. When I asked why she sounded a bit sad and embarrassed as she explained that they didn't have much money.
