(Sorry for all the short chapters. I suck at writing but I'm going to try and double chapter length as well as write a bit more frequently. I hope you're enjoying it so far because I kinda regret the whole camping trip idea but I stuck with it anyways. Feel free to give me your opinions in the comments).
I looked at the pointer spinning and tried to predict who it would land on. I even used Star Platinum's eyes to get a better look. To my relief the pointer had mercy on my soul and landed on Mineta.
"I'll take a dare" said Mineta, probably hoping it would be some alone time with a girl.
"I dare you to watch the rest of the evening's events from the tent."
"What? That's no fair! I wanna see some boobs!"
"You heard Mr Zaps over here" I said "The rules are absolute."
"Mr Zaps?" Asked Kaminari
"I couldn't remember your name in the moment"
Mineta tried to make a break for the trees.
"He's getting away! Lock him up!"
"I'm on it! Star Platinum! The World!"
I felt a strain as I stopped time for the fourth time today, couple that with the flying I did and it's a miracle that this didn't break something. Even with the resting I did earlier, stopping time is hard.
I walked over to Mineta and grabbed his head with Star Platinum before unfreezing time.
"You still got that cage Yaoyorozu?"
"Yeah. It's right here" she said
"Open it up. We're making the pervert watch the fun."
He squirmed in Star Platinum's hand. I tightened my grip.
"Not gonna work."
I threw him into the cage and Yaoyorozu locked it behind him.
"Who's next?" Asked Kaminari.
"Let Midoriya go. He caught Mineta after all."
"That is true. Midoriya, the pointer if you please."
I leaned in and spun it with Star Platinum's arm. The black pointer spun for a whole minute before slowing to a halt on Todoroki.
"Truth" he said, not wanting to get involved with a dare.
Thank God it landed on Todoroki. I doubt I'd be able to think of something if it was anything else.
"Is your quirk just ice Todoroki?" I asked
"No" he replied bluntly
"Then what i-"
"I don't have to tell you that. It's my turn now."
I was taken aback by how harshly he had responded to my question. At least I now knew that he didn't just use ice as his quirk. It was most likely a quirk born from quirk marriage that combined both of the parent's quirks.
His spin landed on Ashido.
"Dare" she said
"I don't care about this game. Just go lift a log or something"
Ashido looked really disappointed at the request. Suggesting this game was supposed to cause chaos and embarrassment in the group. It was having the opposite effect. She thought about what to ask for her question while she lifted the log and came to a conclusion. Perhaps the game wouldn't be a complete failure after all.
She strolled back to the group and took her place excitedly.
She's up to something
I could see that she'd been thinking hard about what to ask people to do. Considering the fact that it was her, I really didn't want to be picked.
She spun the pointer with her expert hands that had been trained long-since to rig a game of truth or dare. It followed the exact path she wanted it to and slowed to a halt.
On Izuku.
Oh crap! She picked me! What do I chose though? Truth or dare? Both can be really bad for me but I reckon picking truth is the safer option.
"Truth please" I said
Ashido smiled, I had unknowingly walked right into her trap.
"Do you have a crush on Ochaco Ururaka?"
Ururaka turned red and so did I. We all sat in silence before Ashido spoke again.
"Remember Midoriya. The truth."
I inhaled deeply. This was my chance to tell Ururaka that I liked her, I just wish it wasn't in front of all these people.
The stress was really getting to me here. I was pretty sure that I'd start sweating soon. Scratch that, I was.
"I-"
I was cut off (saved) by a large explosion from behind us that blew us all away. We flew through the air and I landed hard on my left shoulder. The pain made me groan but I started getting up, only to have another body come flying into me and flatten me on the dirt.
"Oww" Said Ururaka frome on top of me.
"You think it hurt for you?" I said "What even was that?"
I already had a pretty good idea of who it was. Kacchan's training had a lot of force behind it. He must've avoided the game because he wanted to get better at fighting.
"It's just Kacchan!" I shouted" He must've been practicing his all-out move."
The rest of the class were recovering from their falls and I tried to get up. Ururaka's body blocked me from doing so and I had to ask her to move.
Kacchan came walking through the forest and noticed us all lying down.
"Why are you losers on the floor?"
"Because you blasted us away!" Shouted Kirishima "That wasn't cool"
Thank you Kacchan. I thought
His blast had alerted the teachers, who came running out of their tent ready to fight. I ensured them it was just him training and they went off to give him an earful.
"I'm going to go back to my tent" I said "That blast really winded me"
I wasn't lying. My breathing was deep and difficult to do. I tried to stand and stumbled around, eventually I used Star Platinum's legs to steady myself and actually move forwards.
Ururaka watched Deku disappear into the tent and sighed a sigh of relief. They had just narrowly avoided an extremely awkward situation.
But what if the answer was yes? No. Deku would never like me? Would he?
I decided to follow him to the tent as the girls were giving me looks. In it I found him asleep on the floor. I sighed and went to sleep as well.
