(The parts for the sports festival might take longer than usual because I'm really excited for this bit and want to get it right).

It had been a very rough few days before the sports festival. I worked hard nonstop to train me and Ururaka and give us the best chances for victory.

It had passed far to quickly for my liking and I was still trying to cram us with as much training as possible. We had taken to the corner of the class 1-A waiting room and were looking constantly over my notes on all of our classmates. We were both so deep in ourselves that Ashido actually had to shake us out of it and ask if we were okay.

I sighed, closed the book and walked over to join my classmates. There was no use in worrying now. No matter how much I prepared there was no telling what we'd face in the festival.

I noticed that Todoroki was not socialising, instead he was staring deeply and intensely at his hand. I walked over.

"Hey Todoroki."

He snapped out of it and looked up at me.

"What do you want Midoriya?"

"I want to know about your quirk. I asked you during the camping trip and you avoided the question."

"I don't need to tell you Midoriya."

"Fine then. Be like that. But keep in mind that if we ever face off in this competition then I'll work it out eventually. You can't hide a secret about your quirk from me."

His face darkened.

"Then I'll have to eliminate you quickly. I will beat you Midoriya."

"Likewise Shoto"

I walked away from him and seconds later the iconic voice of Present Mic boomed out from the speakers.

"WELCOME TO THE ANNUAL U.A ACADEMY SPORTS FESTIVAL. THIS YEAR WE HAVE THE PROMISING GROUP OF FIRST YEARS WHO MANAGED TO FEND OFF A VILLAIN ATTACK! IT'S CLASS 1-A!"

"That's our cue guys" Said Yaoyorozu

I walked over to Ururaka and shook her hand.

"Remember all the stuff we learnt. Good luck."

We all walked out in a group and I became aware of just how many people came to watch the sports festival. There must have been thousands easily as well as pro heroes from around the country. I looked at our class on the big screen and saw me and Ururaka walking out of the prep room.

Holding hands.

I quickly let go of her hand and turned red. She turned equally as red when she noticed but whispered into my ear quietly.

"I know this might seem strange to ask but please don't let go. I might back away."

She grabbed my hand once again and we kept walking towards the middle of the massive stadium and a smiling Midnight. I could swear she was smiling at me and Ururaka.

This'll be hard to explain to my mother. She'll think we're dating or something.

I didn't think it possible, but I turned even more red. We finally let go of each other's hands and stood awkwardly in our place next to 1-B. I swear I could feel their death glares on my back.

Midnight welcomed us all to the stadium and gave deeper introductions to the classes.

"And now the student who came 1st in the entrance exam will give a special word! Katsuki Bakugo please come up to the podium!"

Everybody in class 1-A looked at each other. We all knew what was about to happen.

Kacchan accepted the Mic and began speaking into it for the whole world to hear.
