"OUT OF MY WAY YOU PURPLE FREAK!" Shouted Kacchan as we ran, explosions forming in his palms. He and kirishima both gave running starts and tried to strike the purple dust cloud of a man with their quirks. The two of passed through him and suddenly were warped away through purple vortexes that appeared in front of them.

"My my. How inhospitable" it muttered

"Where did you take them?!" Shouted KKaminari

"I just moved them to a different part of the facility. If one of you escaped it would be bad for us so we're applying a 'divide and conquer' strategy to defeat you. I hope you don't take any offence children. Now be good boys and girls; let the villains have you"

"Sorry buddy" I said "no can do"

I walked forwards and stood there in front of him, about ten meters away.

"Some advice kid. Go back to your friends, you wont like it if I get violent."

"And what're you gonna do?" I taunted "whisk me away into a portal so you can run?"

"You're lucky I'm a forgiving person. You and your classmates would be in the middle of a volcano if I wasn't. For now I'll just put you in the different spots that we decided on earlier. You however, have pissed me off. I think it'd be fine to drop you from a few feet higher than the rest."

He expanded his body and enveloped us completely. I heard cries from around me as my classmates fell through vortexes created by the monster. I was so focused on finding the weakness of the guy that I failed to notice Ururaka clinging tight to my arm.

Is she hugging me? At a time like this? Is she scared or something?

I also noticed Iida on my other side with one hand on my shoulder. The purple mist kept swirling faster and started to hurt to be in. I pulled Ururaka and Iida close into a huddle to protect our faces from the whipping winds. While our heads were close I saw Ururaka straining, she looked like she was going to be sick. I remembered what she had told me about her quirk.

Now I understood what was going on. She had heard that the villain was going to use his portals to drop me from a height and quickly hugged me. The hug was to make it seem less suspicious I assume. A villain would be less suspicious that we were up to something, just a girlfriend hugging her boyfriend because she's scared is far more believable as a lie than just touching my arm. Clever Ururaka. She bought us some time. But she wasn't going to hold for much longer. I could see it in her eyes that she was desperate for me to think of something. I decided it was my turn to buy her some time.

"Star Platinum! The World!"

Time froze.

I only had ten seconds. The first one I used to test out a theory I'd had for a while. Any object I wanted to interact with could move in stopped time as long as I wanted it to. I wanted to see if I could do that to a person. To bring them into the stopped time. To bring them into my world.

I tapped Ururaka on the shoulder and willed her to move. She immediately started panting from exauhstion. Two seconds had passed.

"Take a deep breath Ururaka, you've got six seconds until time resumes. I'm going to need you to keep your quirk up for as long as possible. Right up until you vomit."

Five seconds passed so far.

"Thanks for saving me like that, your hug has given us a chance to get out of here and fight that villain. I don't think he's noticed we're still here so eventually he'll give up. We've just got to hold out until then. I can stop time in another five seconds after it starts again. Hold out until then, okay?"
