21: The Sports Festival (part 2)

(Sorry this chapter took so long. I kinda lost my motivation to keep writing but I'm not going to let that beat me. I started this story and I will not stop until I finish it with quality! There are parts I'm excited for such as next chapter and Im going to work hard to make it all as great as I can until this story hits number 1)

I got straight to thinking. I was definitely going to have Ururaka on my team and I think it would be good for us if I were on the bottom of the cavalry. If I was supporting everyone else then we could move around relatively easily and have the extra hand that is Star Platinum around to help. Star Platinum still had problems when it was at very far range so I would need to get somebody who could grab headbands from afar. Only one person came to mind for that.

By the time Ururaka had reached me my plan was ready and I had everyone I wanted in mind. I got her to follow me and we went over to Tokoyami to ask him wether or not he would join our group. He saw us coming and started talking first.

"If you want me on your team Midoriya I do hope you have a solid plan on how to let us keep that 10 million point headband of yours."

"Yes I do. I just need your dark shadow for it's range and you for your skill in combat. Will you join?"

"Although it means becoming a target I will indeed join your group. I hope you know what you're doing."

"I always do"

Now I started looking around for someone who could provide better mobility for our group. To my dismay there were very few people left and I did not know most of their quirks. That's when I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned around to see a girl standing behind me with a massive bag of gadgets strapped to her back.

"Hey number one! I noticed your group is missing a member. Please let me join so I can show off my babies!"

She was practically bouncing at me.

"Calm down" I said "I need to know what you and your babies are first"

I was hoping that her 'babies' were some sort of useful quirk that could carry us along the arena. I was wrong.

She pulled out several devices that looked suspiciously dangerous to me. I swear one of them was smoking slightly.

"These should help us out! I'm Mei Hatsume" She said

"Sure" I replied cautiously

We now had four members in our group. A full team.

The positioning would go like this. Ururaka at the front to spot enemies and make us alert, Me and Tokoyami at the back to use dark shadow and Star Platinum to defend from the two sides and Mei was at the top, ready to take off using her 'babies' if someone slipped through our grasps.

It was just as I finished explaining this that Midnight announced the start of the battle. We got into our designated starting position. Thankfully it was in the corner of the arena, perfect for what I had planned.

When Midnight sounded the start I immediately asked Ururaka for a count on how many teams were after us. She nodded her head on every count as she scoured the arena. Just as she stopped counting I silently cursed.

"Eleven" I said "Of course half of them come for me. Sure you don't have a people magnet in that bag Hatsume?"

"How did you know that?" Demanded Ururaka

"I watched the nodding of your head, it meant you had acknowledged something. Keep watching the front."

I summoned Star Platinum to our left and Tokoyami summoned dark shadow to our right. Now our defence was pretty much airtight unless they managed to avoid my gaze or Ururaka's. I honestly felt like we were invincible. Clearly tokoyami thought the same
