Oh God, why now? Of all the times for their boat to catch up with us.
She whisked around to see a boat of only two. Bakugo and Mineta were flying towards them in a canoe that slightly outpaced the speed of Star Platinum. Todoroki was missing from it, which meant that her attack at the start of the game left him unable to play. She probably knocked him out.
Lucky her. That made the fight far more easy. Now all she had to do was make sure one of two things happened. She sunk their canoe so that they never make it to the end. Or, she remove them from the canoe with her quirk and hold them with it until the end.
Either way, win or loss, the fight was only going to last a few minutes at best.
"You can do it Ururaka, I just need to rest for a bit." Muttered Deku, going to sleep.
Ururaka smiled, her cheeks slightly pinker.
If Deku thinks I can do it then there has to be a way to win! Mineta and Bakugo stand no chance!
Mineta and Bakugo stood a scarily large chance. They were shooting towards her at really high speeds.
She couldn't do anything about it. They were going to hit her. It was what she did afterwards that counted. She jumped towards them and managed to get in their boat as it ploughed through hers.
The welcoming party was not fun. Bakugo stopped steering their boat and got ready to blow her away.
"How come you guys got such a big boat? It's like, four times bigger than ours."
"Don't know. Don't care. We're gonna win, now get off our boat."
"Nah. I don't feel like it."
Bakugo growled and sparks flew from his hands. He looked at them, confused.
"You used up all your sweat to get you here. You've got none left"
"Shut up! You don't think I know that?"
I tried to take a step towards him, only to find my feet were stuck to the floor. Mineta must have surrounded them with his balls while me and Bakugo were talking. Pervert though he was, at least he was sneaky.
I'd have to wait for Bakugo to approach me. He knew this as well.
Yet he stayed on the other side of the canoe, far away from me.
"What are you waiting for? I thought I had pissed you off."
"Not quite. Doesn't matter either way though. I still won."
"How have you won? I'm still standing."
"Yeah. You're still standing. Over there"
He's right. What can I do from over here? I could make the boat float but what use would that serve? And where is mineta?
I honestly gave up winning. It just didn't seem possible to me. All I could do was inconvenience them by making their canoe float.
Bakugo walked up to me and punched me in the face.
"Ow! What was that for?"
"The trash talk. Now shut up and watch me win."
He picked up the paddle from the water near our boat and started using it to go towards the finish. We were 50m away when I heard a click from Bakugo's gauntlets.
"This makes things easier" he said, steadying his aim and facing away from the boat. He pulled the pins and we shot forwards.
I'm sorry Deku. I couldn't win.
