C H A P T E R 05

*R O S E's P O V*

It's the end of the day and Bella's driving me home before she heads to the movies with her friends and Jacob. There's an awkward silence in the car I guess it's from what I said to her friends earlier in the hallway.

When we make it to the small home I hop out of the car without saying anything before walking inside the house and locking the door back. Bella drives off to LaPush to find all her friends waiting patiently.

When I finish my homework and walk downstairs back into the kitchen to do something. I'm sitting at the small table with mismatched chairs eating a bowl of cereal when Bella comes walking in with Jacob and a few of his friends.

"Hey Rose!" Bella says walking in and hugging me from behind.

I raise an eyebrow at her before going back and eating my cereal. "Hello Bella."

"Why didn't you come to the movies with us Little Swan?" Quil asks when he sits beside me.

"Cause Quil unlike my dear sister here I actually wanna get into a good college after high school." I say to him with an eye roll before standing up and putting my bowl and spoon away.

"Feisty." Jacob says with sass behind it. "You could had still got your homework done after the movie."

"I'm good Jake." I say looking at him before heading up to my room.

I lay down on my bed before grabbing After. I read until dad comes into my room.

"Hey dad." I say sitting up and smiling at him.

"Bella said you didn't go to the movies with her. You know you could had, right?" Dad says leaning against the door way.

"I know I could had but I just didn't want to. I just got home. I didn't wanna get behind on my homework. I also had to planned to go to my treehouse but I forgot." I say with a shrug and laying back down on my bed.

"I understand sweetheart. Well tomorrow when you get out of school we are gonna go to the diner and get something to eat." He says before heading out the room.

I sit up and look out the window to find a beautiful gray wolf in the tree line looking at the house. I walk over to the window and open it letting in the cool spring air into my room.

I sit up to where I can reach a shelf on my bookshelf and grab my journal. I've grown to love writing things down that I can't express to anyone. I mean don't get me wrong I can go and vent to Bella but there are some things I like to keep to myself.

It's a new day. I'm living in Forks with Dad and Bella. It's nice really, but it's such a big change for me. I've made friends and reconnected with Jake, but he's too stuck up Bella's ass to save enough time for me. I've made friends at school they are really nice but there is something missing in this small town. One more day of making it not crying over Jack."

It's Saturday the week went by fast. The friends I made ditched me the third day I was there. So I started confiding in myself. I don't hang with Bella's friend only in the classes I have with them.

Today Bella is dragging me to LaPush to go and hang on the beach with Emily and the guys. Bella said Jared has a new girlfriend like I care. I didn't really wanna come but Jake and Bella dragged me out saying I need the sun.

So that's what I'm doing now putting my bathing suit on underneath a pair of pink and purple tie dye shorts and a loose cardigan.

"Ok let's go." I say coming down the stairs to find Bella and Jake pretty close together. "Save the making out for the bed room and lets go. Cause I could easily be in my treehouse right now."
