Nik and I are in the living room standing watching Jake, Renesmee, and Bella interact after Jake gave Renesmee her gift. I rub my hand against my bump in small circles.
"Rose dear would you mind helping me with the food?" Sue says walking into the kitchen.
"Of course." I walk into the kitchen and help her. Once we are done Nik comes to me.
"Rose love we have to get going to get our party started." He says rubbing my shoulders.
"Ok." I hug all the wolves and vampires. Renesmee shows me her bracelet before letting me leave. Dad hasn't said anything to me since we arrived. He only waved and Ben went back to what he was doing. So I don't even try to say goodbye to him.
When we make it to my house we walk in to find all the guests chatting in the living room. I smile at all of them.
"Hey Rose." Elena says sitting on Damon's lap.
"Hey Lena." I say smiling. "Have y'all ate?"
"Yes." Damon says while Lily nods her head. I nod my head.
Nik walks back in from the deck from out back. "The fire is built." Caroline and Bonnie bounce yo and grab both of my arms with everyone behind us and goes outside.
That night before we had to change and head to the campsite we enjoy the time we have that could be the last moments together.
Elena is gonna stay at the Rez with the imprints. Elena and Emily have grown very fond of each other.
*T H A T N I G H T*
We are all in groups around the camp fire. Talking some of them standing like freaking statues. Bella is in the tent they have up for Renesmee with her. I'm leaning against Nik while he speaks silently to Elijah and Kol.
I have a hand on my growing stomach. Most of the cold ones have migrated over to the camp fire and are telling stories about battles they've been in or won. Carlisle and Edward are off to the distance silently speaking. I'm currently in a black long sleeve, my leather jacket, and black leggings. My shoes are my grey and white tennis shoes.
Nik is rubbing small circles on my back while he speaks with his brothers. The boys made Rebekah and Freya go back to New Orleans they didn't want them to get hurt during this if it got bad.
I close my eyes and listen for my babies heartbeat. Carlisle has been amazing with helping me and my baby. I've gotten a few ultrasound pictures of the baby and I really think it's a boy.
Carlisle has done ultrasounds and he hears the double heart when he does the ultrasounds also. It's right before dawn when I look up at Nik who's looking at me.
"I love you."
"I love you too." He kisses my forehead. "Go give Renesmee her gift."
"Bella is in there. I'll give it to her after we come back alive." I say smiling.
"So optimistic." He kisses my forehead again. "Do you want to sit down?"
"No. I'm fine. I'm gonna go watch the sunrise." I say. Nik nods his head but doesn't follow me. I walk out to the clearing just as the sun reaches above the trees. I turn around when our witnesses come walking along with my family. Nik, Elijah, and Kol meet up with me while we get in the middle of the group behind Edward. I look over at my Mystic Falls family and smile.
Damon sends me a wink but doesn't force a smile. We walk to our spot and Garrett starts chanting.
"The red coats are coming. The red coats are coming."
