C H A P T E R 36

Sofia rushes me into the changing room and I put on a pair of overalls with a black and white stripped shirt. I put on my short white converse. My hair was already fixed in a half up half down style.

I walk out to find Sofia pacing. "Let's go." I say. She smiles then walks beside me to the stage.

"Your pregnant?" Sofia asks when we are halfway to the stage.

"Yeah." I say smiling. Her eyes widen. We make it to the side of the stage where the stands are full of people. I grab the microphone.

"I'm gonna go announce you." Her band mates come to me and we hug. We walk to the edge of the stage and I see Renesmee bouncing with anticipation.

"Ladies and gentle I represent to you my dearest friend Rose!" Her band goes out before me and I walk out with a smile.

"Let's get this show started shall we?" I say placing my microphone on the stand. The crowd goes wild. I smile brighter when I see Renesmee clapping. I turn towards Derek and nod my head.

"I tried on my own, I thought I'd get there

The crowd cheers and I smile grateful m. "Ok guys take a break." I say facing the band. "I wanna say a few things. So this concert is a charity event for mental health awareness. I don't know any of your stories and none of you guys know mine. But to you that are struggling you are not alone in this battle. I'm gonna tell a story that I don't think anybody but the doctor knows. Take a seat."

The crowd all sits down in the seats. I take a deep breath and smile when one of the back stage workers brings a stool to me. I sit down on it after taking the microphone off of the stand.

I look out at the crowd and find Nik sitting beside Elijah who are both waiting to hear the story.

"So a few years ago before I moved down here to Forks. I was out on the town with a couple of girl friends and their moms you know shopping and filling each other in on the weekly gossip. I remember this day like it was yesterday and this one tragic event caused the beginning damage of my mental health. We decided to split up because I'm a book nerd and wanted to go to the bookstore but they wanted to go to the shoe store. Biggest mistake of my life. I walked into the bookstore and a guy was following me. Now I was fifteen at the time. The guy grabbed me when I was walking out of the bookstore and dragged my to a alley way and took advantage of me. And you know what I'm pregnant now and in a relationship with the love of my life. And I was so scared to tell anybody. And you guys don't go through this battle alone. It's not worth it. Enough of story time. Let's get back to the music."
