C H A P T E R 28

Today should be the day Bella wakes up. I just got out of bed and made breakfast for dad when my phone goes off with a text message. I look at it to find Nik texted.

I'm in Forks, love. I felt like we needed to talk face to face and I didn't want to have to make you leave your sister or niece so I came to you. I'll pick you up and we can drive down to the Cullen's. See you soon.

I look at the text message shocked out of my mind at what he texted. I texted back. See you soon. Then go upstairs to finish getting ready to go see Reneeseme.

I walk into the closet and put on a brown skirt that goes to mud-thigh and a white long sleeve crop top with brown booties. I straighten my hair then do a half up half down with a bun. My makeup is nude glitter that goes into a smokey eye.

I walk downstairs just when Nik drives up. I write a note and stick it to the fridge telling dad where I went.

I walk down to Nik's car and climb into the front seat. When I face him he's already looking at me with a different look I've never seen before.

"Off to Reneeseme we go!" I say smiling. Nik shakes his head then drives towards the Cullens. "What did you have to talk to me about?"

"I'm sorry." I look at him shocked. "And I want to say this before you say anything. I can't stay away from you. I didn't realize it before but I'm in love with you Rose."

My eyes widen in shock even more then they were. We park at the Cullens and looks at me waiting for me to say something. I don't say anything but grab his shirt and kiss him passionately. His hand goes to my neck and starts kissing me with more love and passion.

When we pull away I smile at him. "I'm in love with you too."

He kisses me again before we both hop out of the car and walk into the house. I walk into the living room that's connected with the kitchen to find Reneeseme playing.

"Reneeseme!" I say smiling. She looks up at me then holds her arms out to me. I pick her up into my arms as she shows me what she did before I got here. "Papa Carlisle wouldn't feed you real food?" She pouts then shakes her head.

I smile at her then kiss her forehead. I walk over to our window to find Edward, Bella, and Jake talking. Nik walks beside me and looks down at Reneeseme who is staring at him.

"Hello." She smiles at him when he speaks. "I'm Nik."

She reaches her hand to him. "This is how she communicates."

"Rose." Carlisle says. I look to find Bella and Edward walking towards the house behind Jake.

"Did you tell her?" I ask him before she walks in. He shakes his head no. I sigh and lean into Nik who rubs circles on my back. Bella walks in and Rosalie takes Reneeseme into his arms. She pouts at Rosalie and looks at me. I wink at her then lean more into Nik.

"You look amazing Bella." Alice says.

"Someone's been waiting to meet you." Carlisle says. Nik and I stand by the window. I'm looking out thinking. Nik leans his head against my shoulder. Nik runs his hand through the hair that isn't in a ponytail. I turn around when Edward hands me Reneeseme.

"Rose get Reneeseme out of here I don't want her to see this." Bella says. I look at Nik then walk upstairs into my room. Nik walks in and closes the door.

"You imprinted on my daughter!" I hear Bella say. I smirk at Nik who rolls his eyes. He takes Reneeseme into his arms and plays with her.

"It wasn't my choice! Even if it was you think Edward would let me live?"
