C H A P T E R 42

It's been a few days since Caroline called and broke the news that she was pregnant with Jo and Ric's twins which is insane! Today is Nik and I's Wedding day! I've never been so excited my entire life.

I'm currently in one of the rooms in the compound because I can't see Nik yet we have been separated on two sides of the compound. I have Grace and he has Niko as the men get dressed and I get dressed with my girls.

Bella, Rosalie, Alice, Rebekah, Freya, Hayley, and Davina are helping me get ready for my big day. Nik and I agreed on four groomsmen and bridesmaids. I ask Hayley, Renesmee, Rosalie, and Bella to be my bridesmaids while he asked Elijah, Kol, Marcel, and Edward as his groomsmen.

My maid of honor is Bella because she's been there my entire life even if we went through dark patches I mean all sisters do. Most of the pack and some of my friends from Mystic Falls came down for the wedding. Caroline, Bonnie, Damon, Stefan, and to my surprise Tyler came down with his girl Liv for the wedding.

Paul, Jake, Sam, Seth, Emily, Leah, Jared, Embry, and Quil came down for my wedding since I came to Emily and Sam's wedding after the battle. I'm sitting in the chair in front of the mirror as Rosalie does my hair.

Everyone is around me laughing and talking making today ten times more special. I smile at Grace who climbs into my lap and snuggles into my chest. I kiss her head when Rosalie goes to get more bobby pens.

Bella lays a small book into my lap beside Grace while the photographer comes up and takes pictures. I look to Bella confused and open it as Grace looks at it curiously. To my complete surprise I find pages full of Nik's beautiful handwriting.

Rebekah gave me the idea to write in this journal to you and give it to you on our wedding day.

My beautiful Rose I have dreamed about this day forever. I never knew in all my years of living I would stumble across someone as amazing as you are. You are the light of my life beautiful. You have been the one to hanged me for the good and I couldn't be more thankful.

Rose you have given me the chance to raise an amazing family. You a blessed me with not only just my handsome son but my beautiful daughter as well. I know you will do wonders in the future and hopefully we can welcome more children down the road.

I know you will look absolutely beautiful today my love. You always look beautiful but today is extra special. You my Rose will soon drop the last name of Swan and gain the Mikaelson name. I love you to the moon and back. I can't wait for you to come into the family.

My beautiful Rose I couldn't be more thankful for you and happier with you. I remember the first day you and I spent the day together. It was the day before the grand ball in Mystic Falls you took my breath away multiple times. You not only amazed me with your sweetness and care for everyone but you convinced my brother to rethink his plan on taking not only his but all of our lives and I couldn't thank you enough. Even if eventually we did loose Finn I know if he was here today he would appreciate you more and more if only you two could get to know each other better.

Rose you have brought the best out of everyone not only myself and Finn but also the rebel child that is Kol. You have brought him back to the light even before he fell madly in love with Davina Claire. You are literally everyone's saving grace.

I love you always and forever Rose Mikaelson. Today is our day my love. I'll see you soon and I can't wait to marry you. ;)

I chuckle softly to myself once I finish reading it out loud and whipping the tears that slipped. Grace smiles at me and hugs me when Alice takes her to get her dress on. I stand up from my seat and go to get my dress for the photo of Grace in it.
