C H A P T E R 12

{R O S Es P O V}

It's been a few days since the Cullens came clean about who they were. And since Caroline called me. I'm still not happy with Bella for what her and Jake did. But I've come to peace with them, sorta.

It's the last few days of school. I've not really been involved with the supernatural stuff. Paul doesn't want me involved which I'm grateful for.

Caroline though has been in contact with me every since she called me. I've even been in contact with her other friends Elena, Bonnie, and Stefan. They've all become my best friends even more special than the Cullens. Though they are family.

I told dad about Rosalie not everything. I just told him I found out I was adopted and that it doesn't make me look at him and mom any differently. He was shocked to find out I found the truth without them telling me.

Paul and I are not gonna date. I think if we did date it would ruin our friendship and I don't want that to happen. The Pack have claimed me as one of their own. They treat me like I'm an actual pack mate.

Graduation day is in a few days more like THREE DAYS! I've been freaking out for two weeks. I still don't have a speech ready and that says a lot. I'm usually on top of everything, but I've just been so distracted.

"Rose!" I hear Bella's voice bringing me out of my thoughts. I look up from my plate of food to find everyone staring at me.

"What?" I ask confused. They all chuckle. They being Jessica and them. Edward, Alice, and Jasper look at me with sympathetic eyes. I shake my head at them before looking back down at my piece of paper. "Edward do you think tomorrow you could help me with my speech?"

Jessica has been kinda cold to me every since I became valedictorian I kinda feel bad but I've worked for this my entire life. She's been working for it since maybe freshman year.

"Of course Ro." He says smiling.

"I can help you also Rose if you would like." Jasper says shocking all the others at the table of him talking. I smile nodding my head.

"You should know I would love to have your help Jazz." I say smiling. He puts an arm over my chair and starts giving me tips about saying my speech.

"I can tell your nervous about it. You just have to think of you speaking to Rosalie. Like its's just you and her gossiping. I know it probably won't be the same with all those people there but your gonna do an awesome job." He says. I smile nodding my head. Alice comes and sits on the other side of me.

"I second that. Rose you will do amazing." She says closer so it's just me her and Jasper who can hear. "I can't really see it cause I know your wolf friends will be there, but you have nothing to fear."

"What if I fall and bust my face in front of everybody?" I ask looking at both of them.

"You won't. You have Rosalie's Grace." Edward says joining our conversation. He looks at Alice with a worried look. She nods her head.

We all stand up walking to our class which we all have together. We as in, Alice, Jasper, Edward, and Bella.

"Rose when are you going to Mystic Falls?" Edward asks.

"The day after Graduation. I'll be staying for two weeks at Caroline's. Why?" I ask looking at them. "What's going on?"

"Nothing. I was just curious." Edward says not meeting my eyes.

"Don't lie Edward. What's going on?" I ask looking at all the vampires and my adoptive sister. "Why won't you tell me?"

"We spoke to Rosalie and he said you didn't want to be involved in any of this." Alice says.
