C H A P T E R 13

I'm in Mystic Falls! I decided to stop at a restaurant called The Grill. When I walk in there are a bunch of people here.

I walk to a booth and play on my phone. A blonde hair guy walks up.

"What would you like to drink?" He asks.

"Coke please." He nods his head walking away. I look at the menu before just deciding to get a plate of fries. When the guy comes back he places my coke down.

"You want anything else?" He asks before looking over his shoulder.

"French fries if it isn't to much of a trouble." I say looking at him. He smiles before going back to the back of the store. I wonder where Care is. I look up when a group of people walk in.

"Hey Matt!" The blonde says to the guy that got my fries.

"Hey Care." He says smiling. I sit up straighter seeing my sister.

"Have you seen a short blonde?" The brunette asks.

"Yeah why?" Matt says. Caroline looks around the store before making eye contact with me.

"Rose!" Caroline says I smile standing up when she runs to me. She hugs me tightly. "Oh my gosh! It's so good to finally see you outside of a screen."

"I'm so happy i finally get to see you." I say smiling.

"Elena!" Caroline says waving the brunette over. I smile at her.

"Hey Elena." I say smiling. She smiles brightly before hugging me.

"Oh! I'm glad your here." She says smiling. "I didn't know you were coming earlier."

"Yeah. Sorry I told Care. Stuff is going on at home. I was ready to leave." I say with a shrug.

"What's going on?" Care says as we all sit down at the booth I was at.

"I can't really say. I wish I could though." I say picking at my nails.

"Well we won't pressure you about it. But if you need someone to keep a secret just call. I'll be over at Care's in a heartbeat." Elena says. I nod my head smiling.

"So what's going on?" I ask smiling. Before they could answer a guy with dirty blonde hair walks up.

"Go away Klaus." Elena says.

"I just came over to meet your new friend." Klaus says ignoring Elena and Caroline. "Klaus Mikaelson."

"Rose Swan." I say looking in his eyes.

"Where you from love?" He asks. I look at him oddly.

"Forks, Washington." I say I look over at Elena and Care.

"Well I hope to see you around." Klaus says before walking away.

"That guy was cute." I say looking at them

"He's bad news Rose." Elena says with an eye roll. I smirk and look at my phone when it starts ringing.

"Hello." I say looking at Care and Elena. "Paul what's going on?"

"I was told to tell you when the Newborns are coming." Paul says.

"Oh. When are the coming?" I ask standing up. "I'll be right back." I say to Elena and Care.

"Who are you talking to? And they are coming in two days." Paul says. My eyes widen.

"Why so soon!" I ask worried.

"Don't worry Star. They don't even know your not even in the same state. The Cullens don't even know. Alice can't see you in her visions for some reason." Paul says. "That kinda worries me. Are you sure your around humans?"
