1 What inspired the idea of your story?

I have always wanted to write a fantasy/ paranormal book. Magic is definitely something that has intrigued me for a long time and so, I decided to write my imaginations and ideas in the form of Mysteries and Mayhem

2 What was something you struggled with while constructing your story?

I guess connecting the dots has definitely been the most difficult part for me. When you write a book, it must do justice to the characters and the overall plot. Leaving behind important plot points or inability to describe a necessary situation drags the story down and doesn't leave a favourable impression on the readers. I want my readers to be satisfied with my book, and that has been the most difficult work for me.

3 What has been the overall response of your story to your readers?

Mysteries and Mayhem is definitely my most successful project up until now. It has gotten 5.08K reads so far (in 9 months). Right now, I'm editing and still trying to bring about new and improved changes to the storyline.

4 What did you enjoy most about writing your story?

I have definitely enjoyed writing the magical fights that occur throughout the book. Creating spells is also one thing that I have enjoyed the most.

5 Is your story a stand alone novel or part of a series?

Initially, it was meant to be a standalone, but now, I have decided to make it into a series.

6 What would you like your readers to take away from your story?

I want the readers to take away the happy moments that the characters cherished in the book. It is a kind of story that a person of any age can relate to and that is what, I believe, the readers will love about this book.

7 What advice would you provide to fellow writers, when it comes to focusing on their own stories?

Write what you want to read. If you don't like your story, no one else will. Also, if you are writing something only because it is in trend at the moment and not because got really want to write something like that, I suggest that you should think again, because whatever is in trend now, might not be tomorrow. Make the smart choice.

8 Does the main character share any similarities with yourself?

Rosalyn is kind, generous and helpful to her friends and everyone she cares about. She can be callous and vicious when it comes to defending her friends and that's kind of an amplified version of how I see myself. I do share some similarities with her, but not so much as Kristen, another lead in the book. Kristen is definitely someone that I can relate to the most. She's an introvert, protective of her friends, afraid of letting others know about her feelings and she has a darkness behind all of the charm and quiet something that I definitely do.

9 What is something of your story, you believe would draw in new readers?

Definitely the twists and turns. You can never be sure of who is actually the villain of the story. One moment you are in love with a character and in the very next moment, they are your staunch enemies. So yeah, that's the way I had planned it all along and if you are a fan of such cliffhangers that keep you on the edge of your seat, you are definitely in the right place.

10 Do you have any other future projects, you would like to mention?

Right now, I'm mostly focused on editing Mysteries and Mayhem and writing its sequel. I have many projects that I have planned, which could last a lifetime, but you can surely expect more fantasy/ paranormal books from me.
