1 what inspired the idea of your story?

A nightmare I had one night a few years ago.

2 what is something you struggled constructing with your story?

Getting an audience for it since it was a very short fully completed story more of a flash fiction. I kept entering it in contests to try to help it along with recognition. Never thought it would though. Glad I was wrong about that. It did that and more.

3 what did you enjoy writing most of your story?

Everything from the compelling characters, to the complex, unpredictable storyline, pace and plot.

4 what's the overall response of your story from your writers?

I'd rather this question be posed to my readers because it's their own varied experiences they're having when they're reading it. Not mine. But if we're going by comments, reviews or the ten awards Beneath the Pink Iron Veil has won so far then I'd say the overall response has been quite positive. It has shocked and amazed me of how well this little story of mine has done. And it continues to do so. I never thought it would get as many accolades as it has. It's just staggering. And to think it's all from a nightmare I had. Wow, even a nightmare can have its rewards. There's wisdom in everything.

5 is your story a stand alone novel or a piece of a series ?

It is a fully completed standalone short story.

6 what would you like your readers to take away from your story?

I leave that up to my readers.

7 what advice would you provide to fellow writers, when it comes to focusing on their own story?

Just keep going. Write your own original stories. And take your time, pace yourself.

8 does your main character share any similarities to yourself?

With the exception of coming from a nightmare, no. But if you entertain Sigmund Freud's theory on the psyche in regards to the id, ego and superego well, you might have something there.

9 what is something about your story you believe would draw in new readers?

It's weird, unique and something different particularly regarding the main character's unusual type of fetish.

10 do you have any future projects?

I always have a wealth of those. When I'm ready and finished with them. I'll share them with the world.
