1 What inspired the idea of your story?
Open Novella Contest prompt 49
2 what was something you struggled with for your story?
The pacing and the different points of view
3 what has been the overall response to your story from your readers?
Positive. Everything is constructive criticisms or praise and I'm very grateful ❤️
4 what did you enjoy writing most of your story?
The character development and world development for sure
5 is your story a stand alone novel or a piece of a series?
currently undecided
6 what would you like your readers to take away from your story?
That anything is possible. Science isn't always right. But also there's an underlying theme of we're all human and skin colour doesn't matter
7 what's a piece of advice you would provide to another writer, when it comes to focusing on their story?
Try to write something every day. Even if you don't think it's good, get something going. If you're really not in the mood to write, take a break to read or relax creatively in another way.
8 does your main character share any similarities to yourself?
Yes, I think so. We're both honest people who would do anything for our closest companions
9 what's something you believe would draw in new readers?
Everything. I don't mean that to sound arrogant in anyway but hear me out: Every reader wants something different, so every piece of writing draws different readers and so every part of this should resonate with someone.
10 do you have any future projects?
Finishing this. Then The King's Daughter.
