1 what inspired the idea of your story?

I actually started writing this book back in high school. As embarrassing as it is, it started out as a collection of how me and my ex got together. But after a while, it turned into something more.

2 what is something you struggled constructing with your story?

It was hard for me to keep my character's individual voice throughout the entire story when writing more than one point of view. It took a lot of rereading and editing, but I feel like I managed to keep them true to who they are.

3 what did you enjoy writing most of your story?

I love all of my characters and the many plots and twists that develop throughout the story on top of the main plot. I feel like it kept the story true and as close to real-life as possible because real life is messy

4 what's the overall response of your story from your writers?

The overall response has been amazing. I am truly blown away, and so thankful to all of my readers! Ya'll are what have kept me going and I just can't believe how far the book has come!

5 is your story a stand alone novel or a piece of a series ?

Each novel is written to be a stand-alone, but it is apart of a series. With You is book one of, The Taken series.

6 what would you like your readers to take away from your story?

I can't give too much away. lol But I hope my readers walk away feeling like Brielle and Theo are going to make it in the end. I want my readers to feel engaged with them and really rooting for their love.

7 what advice would you provide to fellow writers, when it comes to focusing on their own story?

I always tell others that it's all in your preparation. Before I start writing, I make sure I have a clear and concise plan of action. All my plots are written and a brief summary of each chapter. That way when I start writing, I have an idea of where everything is headed. (Sure, things may change along the way. A plot or two may jump ahead or I may take it out completely.) But anything is better than writing blindly.

8 does your main character share any similarities to yourself?

I would say, my main character shares a lot of similarities as to who I was and where I was when I first started writing this book

9 what is something about your story you believe would draw in new readers?

I feel like my story has something for everyone. It has the bad boy, it has the fun, sex-crazed best friend. It has a love triangle and the guy best friend who wants more. And I feel like the character's struggles and a lot of the witty banter that they all share is relatable as well. It's really a fun book.

10 do you have any future projects?

I do! The next book in the series is a continuation of With You. It starts off right where this one ends and continues from there. The next book is honestly more of an action book than a romance, but it's going to be a lot of fun. Then I have the next book, which is going to go all the way back to the beginning of Brielle and Theo's love story from when they first met. Her brother, Mason will actually be in it, which a lot of my readers have been excited for.

Then I have my paranormal series that is going to be releasing soon. The first book is called Collide. If you haven't checked it out already, you should! It's probably one of the books I am most excited for. A lot of action, romance, blood and predestined love. Really all my favorites all wrapped into one! :)
