1) What inspired the idea of your story?
It started in the comments section of a mystery book. I had a crazy theory, that the author dismissed, but I liked it so much I decided to write a short story about it.
2) What was something you struggled with for your story?
Keeping my main character as generic as possible (except their age, nothing is revealed about them: gender, appearance, etc.
3) What has been the overall response to your story by the readers?
Most of the readers reported my story kept them on the edge of their seat, which is the best compliment I could hope for!
4) What did you most enjoy writing most of your story?
The second half. *evil laugh*
5) Is your story a stand alone novel or a piece of a series?
It's a short story and can be read separately.
6) What would you like your readers to take away from your story?
I'd like them to remember to cherish their loved ones with each passing moment ❤️
7) What's a piece of advice you would provide to another writer, when it comes to focusing on their story?
Write for yourself. Write something you'd want to read.
8) Does your main character share some similarities to yourself?
None, except the irrational fear towards the weird old neighbor.
9) What's something you believe would draw more readers?
I'll someday add more feelings and descriptions to this book :)
10) Do you have any future projects?
Expand my ONC novella for the Wattys!
