My feet carried me to the empty cafeteria were I sat in on the stage on the floor. I opened my pocket and saw pills piled in there. I started crying harder. The lights were off so I sat in darkness. My heart pounded and my head spun. "Dear God, I'm sorry but I have nothing to live for." I sobbed.

I pulled out four pills, all different colors. Tears made the tile wet and clean. I lay my head down and just cried loudly. "I can't do this!" I screamed, knowing everyone was in 1 period now. I sniffled a few times and looked at my shaking hand.

I pulled my hand up with all the pills and opened my mouth. "Stop!" I looked up to see Liam standing across the cafeteria. He was shaking as well. I set the pills on the floor of the stage and let myself cry. "Liam, I can't do this. I can't hold up anymore. It's too hard." I cried and sat straight up.

"Yes, you can. Just try for me?" he climbed the stage stairs and sat beside me. "Don't think I haven't tried this before, because I have." I listened closely. "But ending your life isn't the answer. Just please, try for me at least." he said. I could see his eyes tearing up.

I nodded and he held me in his arms. "It's all gonna be okay, twinkle toes." he laughed through tears, as well as me. I lay my head on his shoulders and we both stared into the darkness. "I'm so thankful to have a friend like you." I whisper. He smiles, "Me too."

Several minutes later and we got up to go to 2 period. He helped me off the stage and we tossed the pills in the trash. I followed him into the hall where all the people were. "Let's go." he held my hand and we walked to my locker.

Alex stood there, talking to blondie. "Excuse me." I smiled weakly and Liam backed me up by giving them a threatening glare. "Oh, sorry." blondie giggled and took Alex's hand and they trotted off. I let out a snarl and opened my locker. "Eh, let her have him. It'll be her poor heartbreak later." Liam laughed.

"Do you want to go see a movie tonight?" he asked while I shut my locker. "I dunno I'll think about it." I teased and went off to class.

Liam smiled a little and went off to his class. I could see Alex from a distance waiting at the door. I rolled my eyes and stormed past him. "Hey baby." he smiled. My mind twisted and I shot a glare at him. But only to see blondie standing in front of him.

My heart rate calmed and I took a seat alone in the corner. I saw a glimpse of Liam and a few of his friends. One had brown long curly hair. The other had black hair. And the other one had blonde. I smiled at how good friends they were, hugging and laughing.
