PLEASE READ!! Hi. Before you begin this story, I just want to explain a few things. This story contains mature content, so if you're not comfortable with that you can skip over those parts. I'm not going to give a warning at the beginning of the chapters because I'm giving one now. Also, this story starts out like your average happy love story, but trust me... it takes a turn. The more you read, the more interesting things become, so don't give up on reading just because the first few chapters may be kind of "boring." Anyways, thank you guys so much for reading! Please vote and comment. xoxo

PSA: Kaiden's last name is pronounced like Dale-Ah-Croy (Delacroix). I know that's not the actual French pronunciation, but that's how it's pronounced in Wattpad land. Okay? Cool.

THE sight of my dorm room made me want to vomit.

I knew college was going to be a challenging experience, especially since I'd chosen to go to a college four hours away from home, but I didn't know it would make me want to rip my hair out and cry constantly. I was a very organized person, so living with someone who was lazy and didn't mind clutter drove me insane.

When I first met my dorm mate — Emma —, I assumed we would get along very well. We were both nursing majors and we both came from small towns. It seemed like the perfect match. After the first week of living with her, I knew it would be hell. She threw her clothes down on the floor and never picked them up; she would eat bags of chips or candy bars and leave the wrappers all over the place; she would complain if I touched her things. If I even tried to organize her stuff, she would get very upset. Eventually, I just let her be messy and kept my side of the dorm clean. Sometimes her mess would make its way to my side of the room and I would just push it back over the imaginary line that separated her side from my side.

I stayed with my friend Kassie over the weekend since her roommate would be out of town. I figured it would give me a break from Emma. The second I opened the door to my dorm, I covered my nose and gagged. There was an old pizza sitting on my bed with the box on the floor. Two girls were on Emma's bed and guy was on the floor next to my bed.

"What the hell is going on?" I exclaimed. I was never one for confrontation, but the old pizza was all over my lavender comforter. My mom had bought it for me and for some reason, it infuriated me even more that she was damaging something my mom had bought, and not me.

Emma stirred from her sleep and slowly pushed the girl next to her away. She yawned and slowly sat up, her blonde hair a mess on the top of her head. "Oh! You're back so soon."

I looked around the dorm. That's when I noticed the huge pile of throw up in the corner. "What the fuck happened? Who are these people?" I gestured to the girl still passed out on the bed and the guy in the floor.

"My friends. We had a little party last night, hope that's okay. I'll wake them up." She nudged the guy in the floor with her foot. When he didn't wake up, she nudged him harder until he groaned and rolled over.

I waited until she got both of her hungover friends out of the dorm before I went off. As soon as she shut the door and turned around to look at me, she asked, "Can you help me clean the throw up over there up?"

My mouth opened in shock. "What? No! Hell no! You are going to clean it up and then I'm calling the RA and seeing if I can switch roommates." I didn't give her a chance to explain, instead I went into the hallway and called my best friend, Andrew.

I wish this college allowed boys and girls to room together because I would've definitely picked Andrew to be my roommate. Except, I wouldn't want to be there when he brought a girl over. Still, it would be better than living with Emma in her own personal dumpster.
