MADISON

ANDREW and I wake up in the same position we fell asleep in. Unlike last time we woke up in each other's arms, I actually like the feeling. It's something I wouldn't mind doing every morning.

I pout when his arms leave my body and he sits up to stretch. There are faint red lines trailing down his back. A tingle shoots through my body when I remember what we did.

"I have to pee so bad. I'll be right back." He groans and climbs out of the bed. He doesn't bother shutting the bathroom door.

I grab my phone from his nightstand and see that Kassie has texted me a million times.

Kassie: Where did you go?
Kassie: Are you okay? Why aren't you answering my calls?
Kassie: Madison
Kassie: Kaiden said you were with Andrew. Did you get home safe? Let me know.

I shoot her a text back letting her know I'm fine just as Andrew comes back out of the bathroom. His underwear ride low on his hips and he looks good enough to eat.

"Do you want anything for breakfast? We can go get something." He walks over to his closet and grabs a navy-blue shirt.

"More cuddles?" I smile. I'm not really hungry and I don't want to get out of bed yet. I'd rather stay here and pretend everything's normal.

He chuckles and pulls the shirt over his head. "I would love to cuddle some more, but Kaiden's gonna be here soon and I don't feel like hearing his shit."

I frown. "Why would it matter what Kaiden thinks?"

It's not like Kaiden thinks Andrew and I haven't slept together. He's made jokes about it a trillion and one times.

"I'm just not in the mood to hear his stupid ass jokes." He opens the door and goes into the kitchen.

I get up and follow him. "Do you have any bagels? I'm starving."

He nods and points at the refrigerator. "Want any coffee?"

I shake my head and instead grab the pack of bagels from the fridge and pop one into the toaster. He knows I don't like coffee. I've tried to make things feel less awkward this morning, but the way Andrew is acting is making me feel uncomfortable. I get a sick feeling when I realize he might regret what we did. If our friendship ended, I would be lost.

Andrew doesn't say anything as he makes his coffee and then goes to sit down at the table. I take my bagel and go over to the couch.

Fortunately, the awkward silence doesn't last long because Kaiden comes busting through the door. He's wearing last night's clothes and his hairs everywhere. "Well, don't you two look like a fresh Sunday morning."

"I'm not in the mood, Kaiden." Andrew grumbles, but Kaiden just grins and walks past him to his bedroom. He slams the door shut behind him.

As soon as I'm done with my bagel, I'm going to change back into my clothes and ask Andrew to take me back to my dorm. Maybe I should call Kassie and ask her, then I can avoid an awkward silent car ride.

When I get up and throw my trash away, Andrew doesn't even look at me. He doesn't say anything either. I feel humiliated. I woke up this morning thinking things wouldn't be weird between us. I guess I was wrong. Why weren't they awkward last night? He literally held me the whole time we slept.

I go back into his room and gather my clothes, which were neatly folded in the corner of the room. I decide to change in the bathroom in case he comes back to his room. Not like it would really make a difference if he saw me naked now.
