Global warming is one of the most detrimental issues that the world is facing today. The solution against global warming has been debated heatedly numerous times in the past few years. However, the final answer to the subject of global warming is still in the air. The paragraphs below will list the causes of global warming and propose several solutions to the matter.

The predominant factors resulting in the issue are the emissions of carbon dioxide and deforestation, which accelerates the process. Carbon dioxide, commonly known as CO2, damages the ozone layer and causes our world to allow entry of more UV rays from the sun, which in turn creates a number of health-related issues, such as eye damage and skin cancer.

Carbon dioxide originates from several sources, but the most in amount are those coming from the burning of fossil fuels from power plants, which release thousands of tons of CO2 into the atmosphere every year. Another crucial cause of these emissions is burning gasoline, which continues to expand exponentially due to our ever-increasing demand for transportation and also our increasing worldwide consumption, resulting in an escalating need to transport goods and people.

Nevertheless, there are several potential solutions to these problems. Firstly, the government needs a reduction in the dependence on fossil fuels and in turn promote alternatives. Plant-derived plastics, biodiesel, wind power and solar power are all things that can. Governments also need to enforce the limits on CO2 emissions for the polluting industries in their countries for these to be effective. Also, individuals can play a part by making lifestyle changes. Making a change in daily trivial matters, for instance buying energy-efficient products, reducing excess electricity in the house, and planting trees in backyards contributes to the situation.

In conclusion, although global warming remains a critical issue, there are still certain measures that governments and individuals can take to reduce their effects. If we are to save our planet, it is vital that they are treated as a priority to be implemented in the future.

* I've seen some promising tech that seems effective against global warming, but most of them are still in a state of "work in progress" or "testing in beta" or in the worst case, "it's in theory because nobody can afford it".

* I don't know if I can use the proposal way of "The paragraphs below will..." or "In this essay, I will..." to introduce essays. Any ideas?

* Humans throw away enough paper and wood each year to heat 50,000,000 houses for twenty winters. A glass bottle takes more than 4,000 years to decompose, and the plastic bag is originally invented to save the earth.
