Are books the only way to learn?
Books are one of the most beneficial and popular sources of knowledge we have nowadays. Our learning began from the wonders of books. However, sometimes the most important lessons we learn come from our anticipations in different situations of life. Those things we learn can never be learned through anything else. We cannot really attain everything from books and in my opinion, the knowledge we gain is far more important than anything else.
Of course, learning from books in an educational institution and for someone's own interest is highly important. Books open new horizons. Whenever someone reads books, it helps the reader to broaden the power of imagination, to introduce them to new ideas. In fact, books are a fine collection of ideas, imaginations, and innovations of writers for the readers. On the other hand, sometimes we face a new situation. I believe that the most important lessons cannot be taught, it must be faced and learned by ourselves in real life. The experiences we gather from daily life help us to rectify our future acts. We also learn by watching a situation even if we are not a part of it. We even learn from the stories we hear, not read, from our friends or family about strange situations or incidents that have occurred to them.
No book can make us learn how to live your life, how to share our feelings, how to create self-respect etc. These must be learned from our experiences. Experiencing our own triumphs and disasters is the only way to learn how to deal with life. Books can only go so far in giving us guidelines whereas our experiences give the perfection of it.
In conclusion, a huge part of our learning is made true by books. However on the other hand, some aspects of learning, for instance experience, couldn't be taught by it. In my opinion, I believe that although books are extremely important for our everyday lives, they can't teach us everything. Only by gaining experience from real life can we know other aspects of this world.
*The ending of the first paragraph seems weird... Any suggestions?
*I originally wrote "beginned" at the first paragraph, and I had absolutely no idea why Word marked it wrong and offering suggestions like beginning or beginner, then four years later I look at it and knew instantly "oh it should be began", haha.
