The five of us arrived at the DH Academy via helicopter at 11 PM. From what I could tell in the darkness, the school building itself seemed like one big block of concrete with windows fashioned into the sides at varying points. The inside of the walls of the school were a gray brick color. The school reminded me of something of a prison.

We entered the school through the front and on the left was a large steel door, our chaperone/guide, a teacher named Professor Black, had told us that this was the office.

We were guided throughout a series of halls and eventually into the dorms, which were coed. Faith and Yuki got their own dorms while Keita, Riku, and I had to share one. Our dorms were right besides each other for safety purposes and a door sat between our dorms in the event that we needed to meet up or be in contact if we had to lock both of our doors for some reason.

Faith and Yuki went ahead into their own dorm while Keita, Riku, and I settled into our own. The room, like the ones at GATE, had been magically enlarged. The spaces between each dorm door were only 10', but the dimensions of a dorm upon entering a room was easily 20'x30', it's length being longer than it's width.

At the far end of the room was a kitchen, complete with all necessary kitchenware and devices. A door leading to the bathroom was to the left of the kitchen. 2 beds sat lined up against a wall, and one other against the opposite wall. I picked the one on its own wall and set my stuff down onto the bed, Keita and Riku did the same. Next to every bed was a closest and drawer/nightstand and the three of us also began filling it with our clothes. Once settled in, I turned off the lights and the three of us laid down onto our beds, falling asleep without much to say.

The five of us were all arranged to have the same classes, we started and ended the day with the same teacher, our guide, Professor Black. The homeroom and last period teachers were usually the same at DH because the last period for every class was their equivalent of our "Physical Education" class, which they called CA, Combat Awareness.

Professor Black, a tall, muscular, and tanned (white) man standing at 6'6", started off his class by introducing the five of us very duly.

"Good morning class," he said in a lower voice, "For these next three days, we will be joined by these five guests from the GATE Academy, yes, I'm sure we all have many friends there."

Some of the class snickered and sneered at us as the five of us stood up at the front of the class. There were two obvious demons in the class, but it seemed like the rest of the class was just riled up by a rage. In the exact center of the room sat a white-haired senior who, with crossed arms, stared up at me from his seat, refusing to participate in his classmates' jeers against GATE.

"Yosaiga..." I said out loud.

The class silenced themselves in the next three seconds, Yosaiga didn't say a word.

"Yosaiga," I spoke up, "You're in my class at GATE, why are you here?" I questioned. Professor Black just looked at me.

Yosaiga stared at me with blank white eyes, "Pay attention, Shizuo, I left after the first day," he said in an uninterested tone, "And besides, I prefer DH."

I stared back at Yosaiga before Professor Black began to herd the five of us GATE students to our desks. The rest of the class began to speak amongst themselves with people confirming that the two girls were indeed the ex-DH students Faith and Yuki. Dirty looks were shot at the two girls.

"Don't worry, I'll make sure that nobody touches you," I reassured Faith as I sat besides her on her right. Yuki sat on Faith's left, Keita sat behind Yuki, and Riku sat behind Faith.

"I'm not worried about these students," she replied, taking out her school supplies. I did the same and didn't talk talk until the period was over.

The class, which was "History," was over in no time and a bell signaled the end of the period. The five of us shuffled out into the halls and began making our ways to our next class when it happened.

A student that exited the same class as I rushed out of the room, grabbed me by the collar and pushed me up against the opposite wall lined with lockers. Keita thrust out both of his arms and a strong wind pushed everybody out of the way, leaving a semicircle around the aggressor and I. Some students shuffled around Keita to continue to class, but others stayed behind to watch what was going to happen.

"So you're Shizuo, Eh?" the student sneered, "You think that just because you go to the GATE Academy that you can just barge into here an-"

I brought my arms up in between his two hands that gripped my shirt and pushed outwards, forcing his hands off of my shirt. I kicked him back in the chest with my right foot into Keita, who caught him "trust fall" style and pushed him forwards to me.

"Yes, I am Shizuo, but excuse me, I am on my way to class, I don't want to be late to a class on my first day of school," I replied, forcing a small smile on my face. It was important that I remained as collected as I could, I didn't want to make the wrong impression on these DH students.

The student sneered at me as I followed after my group, who had begun to walk away. The student took out a metal bat that was strapped to his back and swung down towards my right shoulder. I turned 90° to my right, avoiding the strike, grabbed the end of the outstretched bat with my left hand, and pushed it into the nose of the student. The student stumbled back into a crowd of students and slid down, unconscious.

The students that had stayed to watch widen their eyes at my swift and effortless reaction. Good, it was earning me respect.

The five of us made it to class undisturbed on the way.

"Was that necessary?" Faith asked as we entered our Calculus class.

"No."

She left it at that, seeing it on my face that I was not in the mood to talk.
