The five of us sat in on Calculus with a teacher named Professor Retra, a light brunette and sparkling green-eyed women in her mid-30s or so. She wasn't very good at teaching the subject, but she was still very social and kept the class engaged with stories that usually ended up in us laughing. I couldn't believe that there were teachers like this on DH's campus, fun teachers.

Our "lesson" in Calculus was interrupted by the bell signaling break and Retra decided to not give us homework, which I guess was a common thing of her to do.

The five of us began to leave the classroom last when Professor Retra called for me. Everybody waited for me outside of the door while I walked back into the class and approached Retra's desk.

"What is it, Professor Retra?" I asked.

She, despite being still young and "fun," actually held a certain air of wisdom and experience.

"Shizuo. You're a good kid and I know why you're here."

"Then you know what I have to do."

"Please don't do anything too rash, Shizuo. I am a GATE alumni, and I can easily say that people are more inclined to violence or vendettas here. You may intend to resolve this conflict now, but it will catch up to you. When it does, please be prepared." She warned me.

I nodded my head, "Thank you Professer Retra."

She smiled at me, a mother's smile, something I haven't felt in a long time, "This problem will not be resolved through diplomacy, Shizuo, so you need to keep your loved ones close by, protect them with everything you can. Times like these are when you cannot trust anybody but yourself and your loved ones. Hold them close and fight for them, Shizuo."

I nodded again and left the class.

Faith nudged playfully against my shoulder, "Got some one-on-one with the teacher, Eh?" She said, winking.

I lightly pushed her back, "Psh, nothing like that, Faith!"

Sure leaned towards Yuki muttering something like "Sure sure" and began talking to her. Yuki looked up at me and smiled shyly.

The five of us walked around the halls of the school looking for a place to sit, and then it just occurred to me: If Faith and Yuki were well known here, why weren't there a bunch of people that knew them approaching us. And as far as I know, they haven't spotted anybody familiar either.

As we walked down a hallway, we could see up a head students making way for a group of different students. The students kept parting and creating a path until five students approached us, in front of them was a new face to me, and he looked extremely hostile.

Riku pointed at the lead guy, "He has horns." He said simply.

"I know," I simply said.

I was too busy focusing on the middle guy to notice that to his right were Yosaiga and Hisashi. I looked at them, Hisashi giving me a cat-like sneer while Yosaiga just stared at me blankly with his cold eyes. On the middle man's left were two girls, one of which was the one that I was familiar with and the other, a pink-haired, blue-eyed girl that I hadn't seen before.

"Evil" is the first word that came to mind upon looking at the student in the middle. Atop his head of long, jet black hair sat two red ram horns that jutted out from the top of his head, in between them, slightly above his forehead sat a straight horn, like a unicorn, an evil unicorn. Instead of white, his eyes were black and his pupils a dark red. Under his eyes were two upside-down red triangles that were either painted on or natural markings.
