Chase

Jimin's Pov

I am now driving my way to Daegu to chase them.. I need to be there before it's too late.

An hour ago

When Donghyun was about to go out of my car, his phone suddenly lit up. My eyes went to his phone and read who is calling him..

As soon as I saw who it is, my eyes widen and my breath hitched.

It's her

I harshly grab Donghyun's arm and trap him. My eyes showing madness right now.

I knew he lied to me..

I trap him with my arm on his neck while I can read his face, fear.

"Answer it. Loud speak and talk."

He nodded and slowly answers the call.

"H-hello Noona?"

"Donghyun. I need to tell you something."

I heard her voice. Her soft voice. I miss her. My hold from him softens when I heard her voice. My eyes become teary when I think of her.

Where are you, love?

I badly wanted to ask but I know if I do that, she will be shock and end the call.

I look at Donghyun, signalling him to say something.

"What is it?"

I heard her sigh before she speaks again.

"I know it's so sudden, but I'm on my way to the airport now. I just decided last week and eomma will come next week."

Airport? What does she mean? She's leaving me again? Now that I have a chance to see her again after a month?

I immediately took the phone from his hand.

"Mina?? It's Jimin. Please tell me where you are. Please, I really need to talk to you." My voice cracked. I'm on the urge of crying.

I hear silent from the other line. I look at the phone to see that the call already ended. I must've been accidentally ended the call when I took it from him.

I stared at the phone before I divert my gaze to the person beside me..

"You knew?"

"I'm sorry sir. She said not to tell you."

"You knew everything but you didn't tell me anything!!"

He looks down. The I thought.

What am I doing here?  I should chase her.

"Get out!" When I said that, he immediately went out of my car as I hurriedly start the engine.

Present

I drove so fast since Daegu is far. I didn't care of my speed limits. I need to chase her. I need to stop her.

All I could think while driving is her. Them.

I didn't know where they are going.

Please Mina. Don't leave me again. I need you, love

Third Person's Pov

He immediately came out of his car as soon as he arrive at the gate. He keeps banging on the door, hoping it will open.

After seconds pass, the gate open. But he didn't expect the person.

"Jimin!? What are you doing here?"

"Eo-eomma where's Mina? And Chanseong?" He stutter while asking. His eyes are getting blur every second.

She bow her head showing his greatest fear. His heart felt like it stops beating.

"I'm sorry, Jimin. They left an hour ago."

He doesn't believe what he heard. He knows his crazy now. Not minding the person, he walk pass her to enter the house.

He look everywhere for them, but no clue of them. After running around the house, he collapse on his knees in the living room.  He cried hard Knowing that his family left him again..

He keeps punching himself because of regret.

"You need to face it, Jimin. It's also your fault why you are like this. I really wanted to help you. But after I knew what you did to my daughter, I can't." She stood in front of him.

"I'm so sorry. Please forgive me. Please tell me where they are. I really regret what I did."

He is still kneeling in front of her, begging her to tell him.

"What happened to your promise, you said to her father? I'm sorry I can't forgive you. When she forgives you, then I will. This is your punishment."

She turns her back, ready to leave him. But she face him again and said something that made him more guilty.

"And you did that while your wife is still carrying your unborn child."

Mina's Pov

We are about to depart now. I made myself comfortable on my seat. We are flying to Japan.

Chanseong sat beside me on the other sit, by the window. He keeps looking outside, seeing every person outside and waves at them.

I smile at the sight of him. I brush his hair with my hand and he face me.

He rubs his eyes and yawn.

"You want to take a nap?"

"Nap" he said with his bubbly voice.
I giggle and took him to my lap.

He sucks his thumb while his head is resting on my shoulder.
That's his habit, he sucks his thumb to help him sleep.

While tapping his butt, he utter a word.

"-ppa"

"Hmm? Yes baby?" I whisper to him. I didn't get what he said since it's too low.

"-ppa" he said clearly.

"You miss appa?"

"Eung"

"I miss appa too, baby. Don't worry. We will see him soon"

Unknowingly, a tear escape my eyes. I still couldn't forget what he did.

He did that while I am carrying my second child.

Yes, I'm pregnant. I just found out a week ago. It's already a month.

I'm sure, we will meet in the future. But I don't know if I will forgive him or not.

I mean, we've been together for years now. We also know each other since we were kids. I didn't expect him to do this.

I keep tapping Chanseong to fall asleep. When he did, I laid him on my arms and kiss his forehead.

You're going to be okay. We are going to be alright. Eomma will stay with you. For the both of you.
