Chapter 15

'Beautiful, the perfect day for dad and Ms. Miwa's wedding. That special day when we all become one big, happy family' Ema thought as she gazed outside her window before her doorbell rang. Ema opened the door to see Louis

"Good morning, Chii. Big day!" Louis said. 

"And a perfect day it is" Ema said. 'Hang on a second, Louis just called me Chii again. How does he know that name?' Ema wondered.

"Is something wrong?" Louis asked. 

"No not at all. Still waking up. So what brings you by? Need my help with anything?" Ema asked.

"I'm here to help you out. Let me do your hair! So, like, you'll be in a dress today, yeah? I was thinking we could use colors that compliment. Cool? That is of course, if you don't mind" Louis said. 

"Oh, I'd love that! I'm sure Ryuko and Zerin will too" Ema said. 

"Alright, I haven't seen them yet so maybe we should find them first" Louis said. 

"Right, Ryuko's probably still in her room. Zerin should be awake. Probably at the gym" Ema said. 

'It's a beautiful day for a wedding' Zerin thought as she ran in the park. 'Gorgeous, absolutely gorgeous' Zerin thought as she admired the day ahead of her. She stopped a nearby fountain and took a deep breath in. 'Today makes it all official. Today marks the first day of being a family' Zerin thought making her way back home. Going inside she was met with Kaname. 

"Good morning, how was your morning run" Kaname asked. 

"It was wonderful. It looks like today is going to be great" Zerin said. 

"I agree. It is a beautiful day" he said. 

"Yup. I can't wait to call you my brother Kaname" Zerin said and wrapped her arms around him. 

"The feelings mutual, little sister" Kaname said and patted her head. 

"Well I better go and get ready. Bye" Zerin said as she left. 

"Bye" Kaname said after her. 'Little sister, indeed' Kaname thought to himself. 

"Ryuko, I hope you don't plan to sleep the morning away. Today is the wedding after all" Fuuto said knocking on her door. Ryuko slowly got up and rubbed her eyes. She looked at her calender and saw that today was the day of the wedding. 'Today's the day' she thought as she slowly got up. 

"Ryuko, come one. Wake up" Fuuto said, pounding on her door and then ringing the doorbell. Ryuko opened the door and saw a slightly irritated Fuuto. 

"Good morning" she said. 

"Good morning. Here, this is for you" Fuuto said stretching out his hand and looking away. In his hand with a mug of her preferred beverage, a chai tea latte. 

"Thank you, little brother" she said as she took a drink.

"You're welcome" Fuuto said and walked away. Ryuko opened the curtains to her room and saw the clear blue sky. She finished her mug and strummed the strings on her black bass. 'I hope you can see this mom. I think you'd be happy for your brother getting married on such a glorious day' she thought as she rubbed her key necklace. 'I know I am' she thought. She went into her closet and pulled out the dress and shoes she was gifted for the day. Taking the dress she examined it before going to her drawers and pulling out a set of undergarments to go with it. She laid all of the items on the bed and grabbed her towel and a basket containing a salt, oil, body wash, perfume and makeup. Making sure there was plenty for her and her sisters.
