Chapter 30

I stared up blankly at the blue sky above me as I laid stiffly on the ground. The bite wound was throbbing along with my arm, but the pain was pushed into the back of my mind as I tried to process the words.

'You will become us.'

If it means what I think it does, I wish to take it all back. I don't want to be a werewolf. I can't be. This cannot be happening to me.

How was I supposed to explain this to anyone?

How was I supposed to hide the injuries from my father?

These questions were running through my mind before silver eyes were staring at me from above.

I whimpered and shook my head. "I can't handle wolf right now." I closed my eyes and slowly fluttered them open to find Niall crouching down beside me with concern written all over his face.

"I'm so sorry, baby. This should have never happened to you. I will be here with you every step of the way."

I looked deeply into his eyes to find worry and truth laced through his bright blue orbs.

Tears began to slip out of my eyes and cascade down my cheeks. A sob escaped my lips and I was enveloped into a tight, warm hug. His hands ran up and down my back in a soothing manor while I let all of my emotions out onto his bare chest.

"Why did this have to happen to me?" I sniffled and pulled away, instantly feeling cold.

I looked up into sorrowful blue eyes staring back into my green ones. He brushed the hair away from my face before gently laying his hand on my cheek while his thumb stroked soothing circles.

"I don't know, baby."

I pouted up at him before leaning into his hand. I heard thundering footsteps come closer causing me to instantly freeze.

"It's just the boys, baby."

I took a deep breath and slowly let it out before looking around Niall to see two large wolves in front of me. One with slick, dark brown hair and the other with a lighter, softer brown hair.

I looked back to Niall and instantly blushed when I realized that he was completely nude. I glued my eyes to his face causing him to chuckle lightly.

"Will you be okay to ride on my back to go home?"

I nodded and he stood up before giving me his large hand and pulling me up to my feet. He took a couple steps back before morphing into the majestic creature that he was and that I will soon become. The thought caused an unnerving chill to run down my spine.

Niall knelt down in front of me which allowed me to climb onto his back before he took off back to the house with the two others in tow.

I fear this story will be coming to a close soon.... maybe not but idk yet..

Anywho hope y'all had a fabulous Thanksgiving!!!!! I know I had one:)

So...I killed my first deer yesterday! 😄 he was a 4 point and I was very happy🙈

What are y'all thankful for?
I am thankful for friends and family. for my animals and my job. For the food and a nice warm house. I am thankful for all of you incredibly amazing people. And last but certainly not least I am thankful for the five idiots that saved me.
