Our eyes widened.

"Whay do you mean, blind, dude? She can't see at all?" Mikey asked inly to get a slap behind his head.

"That's what being blind means, knucklehead." Raph said.

"But how could she have followed us? We didn't save anyone who's blind." I said.

Donnie shrugged.

"So... What do we do now?" Mikey asked.

I turned to Sensei, who was with his hand on his beard.

"Mmm... Perhaps it's the wisest if we let her stay here for a while. She must have a good reason to be in the sewers. We'll only have to wait until she wakes up and tells us what happened." He said.

We nodded.

"Now go to sleep. All of you."

"But what about the search for the Lopes girl?" Raph asked.

"I have the feeling that we won't have to search for her any longer. Now, good night, my sons."

We nodded again, and each one of us headed to our beds.

Except for me. I headed to the place where she collapsed. She left her cane there.

I took it and headed to my room. When I got there, my eyes didn't leave her sleeping form for a while.

She seemed to be so calm and relaxed. At least until she shivered a bit.

So, after I left the cane by the nightstand side and put the blankets over her, I went to the couch.

I slowly fell asleep thinking about the girl that had just walked into our lair.
