Scratch and Grounder screamed as Robotnik hammered their malleable bodies back into shape. Once they were inflated, the screaming died down and Robotnik paced up and down the lab glowering at them.
"You imbeciles!" shouted Robotnik, "you couldn't even catch the Fox? Hahahah! He is the wimpiest kid in town!"
"Doctor, said Grounder, "Sonic said if you ever invade again you'll be nothing more than a scrambled-
Scratch punched the mole bot away and acted as if nothing happened. "My master," he began "we only failed because CLUCK that hedgehog intervened. We had the nasty little fox in our grasp!"
Robotnik growled.
"I need a robot who can defeat Sonic, something made of a strong metal, something he can't slice through...."
Robotnik ran over to a machine, typed in something and applied gel to his temples. He got two pads and applied them there. The computer beeped ACCEPTED. He wiped the gel from his head and went onto the internet and typed in Sonic The Hedgehog. He went onto Segapedia and copied all the information about Sonic and pasted it into a file.
He then imported the file into another called (METAL). He scrolled up to a button labelled: *RUN* He clicked it and a buzzing was heard. HAHAHAHAHAHAH! Laughed Robotnik. He ran over to a glass tube where a frame distinctly looking like Sonic was being constructed.
"Now to find the strongest material on Earth.... Vibranium... (Just kidding) Diamond.... I will call you: Metal Sonic! HAAHAHAHHA! Scratch started clucking and Grounder made a drilling noise.
"Wait a minute... said Grounder, Diamond is a stone not a metal!
Robotnik and Scratch stopped and thought for a minute. It was the smartest thing the robot had said in his life.
"Meh" said Robotnik.
"Yeah whatever" clucked the chicken bot.
They continued laughing much to the sadness of Grounder who was never told he had a great idea. He trundled off to his living quarters to be sad.
Meanwhile, Robotnik folded his arms triumphantly.
