Robotnik and Scratch sat on Grounder who was trundling down a sloped tunnel. They could ve walked yes but they were lazy. On their heads, they wore silver hard hats and in their hands they each held an iron pickaxe.
"FASTER GROUNDER! FASTER!" Shouted Robotnik as they sped down the passage. Poor Grounder was going as fast as his catipillar tracks could carry him.
He was huffing and puffing as his wheels squeaked and rattled with the speed. Suddenly, one of his tracks broke and they all screamed as they fell through a hole and flew about with sparkly colour swishing before them then.....
Oof! They cried as they crashed in a heap on the floor. Robotnik looked up they were in a cave which had diamonds and all sorts of gems hanging from the ceiling and walls.
"Grounder you nuisance!" shouted Robotnik who was now red in the face. I can't even trust you with a simple task!" "I couldn't agree more!" squeaked Scratch folding his arms.
Grounder wasn't even listening but was examining his charred and smashed tracks. "Boss!" he wept. "Look!" Robotnik roared with laughter when he saw Grounders pathetic tracks. "That's what you get you horrible little mole!" Now let's dig!"
Scratch swung his pickaxe high and smashed it into a huge Boulder. It instantly split and jewels of all sorts spilled out. But no diamond.
"We're CLUCK rich! squeaked the chicken.
He held up the emeralds and rubies and threw them into the air. They came back down pelting Robotnik.
"AHH! STOP THAT YOU STUPID CHICKEN!'
He swung the iron pickaxe and smashed it into the wall. Clear blue jems clattered onto the floor. "Hello my beauties.." muttered Robotnik stuffing them greedily into his pockets. Grounder as best as he could, trundled over to a stalictite and swiped upwards in the air with his pickaxe swiftly cutting the crystal. Millions of diamonds spilled out and layered the floor.
"Look Robotnik! he said "Diamond!" Robotnik came over to see. He examined the material. "Well done... he said. You're not that dumb after all!" Grounder smiled as Robotnik stuffed all the diamond into a sack.
But how will they get out the cave?
