MaxNeil Oneshots

headcanons i guess

These will basically be what my brain defalts to. It might change throughout different chapters, but just assume these rules apply if I don't say otherwise. (Mainly just a little background knowledge) These might change slightly/have more over time.

Max- 17 years old. Gay. Slightly girly and he knows it and owns it. I actually see him as intersex, but doesn't know until he's 14. Little badass but still sweet when he wants to be. Likes pulling pranks. Wears dresses and make-up every once in a while, not often (except eye liner which we can all agree he can slay). Likes painting his nails black. Has become exceptionally happier since moving in with david. Hasn't gained any better language habits.

Neil- 18 years old. Pan. Was the first to develop a crush on max. Still nerdy and for the most part a goodie-two-shoes when it comes to school, but is still tough when he's defending what he believes in. Loves Max's 'f*ck you' additude, but also the sweet side that rarely makes an appearance (95% of the time because of him). Looks up to (but down upon (lol max u so short)) max and how he doesnt let anyone control him or his life.

Nikki- 17 (slightly younger than max). Bi. A tease. Slightly tsundere. Always trying to catch max and neil in a cute act (and sometimes regrets it). I dont really ship her with anyone but some ship her with erid so i just use that as a place filler. Probably has started a maxneil worshiping cult in her free time when she's not playing volleyball. Skips class with max often becuase Neil refuses to most of the time. Despite not being into all that girly sh*t, can't help but enjoy a r&r session with max (they be besties).

David- 30. Bi. Still and excited ass bean. Adopted max shortly after the end of camp (dadvid 4 life). Had a happy heart attack the first time max called him "dad" (roughly a little over a year after he moved in with David). Still good friends with gwen, who visits (uninvited) every once in a while. Happy for max and neil, glad that neil (for the most part) is a good influence on max and the changes that he's seen in his son over the years. (Im sry in advance but i kinda maybe a tiny bit ship david with daniel)

Preston- 18. Gay. Has found his way into the trio's friend group over the years. He and Max are total divas together (closer to max than the other two, but still close to them). The group had gained a habit of calling him 'Prezi'. Hard-core theatre kid still, managed to climb his way to assistant director and helps make the school plays happen. Max is his go-to costume and choreography.

Harrison- 18. Straight.

Nerris- 17. Bi.

Nurf- 20. Gay.

Erid- 20. Bi.

Dolf- 16. Straight.

Jasper- Eternally 11. Pan.

Gwen- 28. Bi.
