I think y'all know what's goin down 😏

I also got this idea while I should be sleeping so yay for that-

David's P.O.V.

Oh I'm so excited! Gwen and I haven't seen each other for ages and now we're finally going to catch up! Plus I'll get to tell her about Daniel-but shh-don't make a big deal about it; Max still doesn't trust him. I can't really blame him though, after all the stuff that Daniel has done, but I'm sure in the end they'll grow on each other and we'll all be a happy family! Anyway, the three of us were planning to go to a fancy restaurant so I was currently in my room getting ready for the night. Gwen had told me she finally found a job she likes, which I was so happy for her! She lived with this little old lady that she took care of and did errands for, and from what she's said the lady sounds really sweet and treated Gwen wonderfully. I made them both weaved blankets as a gift because I remember her mentioning that they could both use one, because the house would get cold, and planned to give them to her tonight. Daniel and I didn't live together (yet hopefully :D), so we would be arriving separately.

Max had Neil over since even though he was in high school I didn't like leaving him alone at night when I'd be so far away. They'd stayed so close over the years and it was absolutely adorable! The three of them were still practically inseparable still, and really I didn't mind the constant sleepovers the trio would have. I passed the two sitting on the couch after I came down the stairs, making my way to the door whilst saying goodbye. "Don't stay up too late! I bought more popcorn, it's in the pantry so help yourselves!" I informed cheerfully and smiled as Max waved me off, still looking at the television. Neil waved a bit to be polite as usual, and I waved back before shutting the door behind me. I cheerily walked to the car and started driving, excited for the nice night ahead of me. It was a long drive so I would just have to try to get through it without bursting! Though, hopefully Gwen doesn't get too freaked out-Daniel really is a good guy once you get to know him!

After a good 20 minute drive, I was finally there. It felt so much longer though cause I was just so happy to see my bestie again! I found her inside and immediately hugged her which she returned only a little, which was normal. "So when will your plus 1 be here?" Gwen asked curiously. Hopefully soon, I wasn't very good at waiting when I was excited. It was shortly after that Daniel texted me that he was stuck in traffic since he lived on the other side of town. I pouted, wanting him to get there faster. It was at that moment that realized that had left the blankets at home! Oh no! I told Gwen in a panic and she said it was fine-but I really wanted to give them these and I might not find another opportunity for a while! "No, I'll go get them!" I exclaimed, now determined. "David it'll take you at least another half hour to go there and back," she protested, "really, it's not a big deal." But I told her that since "my date" would still be a bit, I could run home quick and bring them to her. She tried to protest again, but I was already in my car.

I entered the house in a hurry, aiming to cut down on time, and expecting to be in there just enough time to run upstairs and grab the gifts. Neither of the boys were on the couch as I passed it, the movie was paused in the middle as they were nowhere to be seen. Strange but not suspicious, I ran up the stairs to my room knowing exactly where I left them. Just as I reached the doorknob I heard an exclamation; "FU~CK!" I stopped, that wasn't a normal tone. I hurried over to the source of the noise; Max's room and tried the doorknob. Locked. I was about to say something when I heard more noises from within the room. Creaking and heavy breathing. Oh no. They better not- A husky voice came from through the door, "This what you get little slut. This is what you get for being such a bitch all the time." A smack and cry of pain. Oh no. He is N O T. I knocked loudly on the door and all noises ceased. "BOYS! OPEN THIS DOOR RIGHT THIS INSTANT!" I yelled, "YOU BETTER NOT BE DOING WHAT I THINK YOU'RE DOING!" There was nothing and the door didn't open. I stormed off to find the stick key that came with the knobs just in case someone got locked out.
