And yes this is a Creek picture. Stfu.

Max's P.O.V. (not based on an actual ep)

We'd just helped some time traveler dude stop the space-time continuum from collapsing, and he asked that if, in return, we'd want to see part of our future. As soon as we agreed, he nodded, smiled, and f*cking disappeared! You can't ask something like that and just leave! What a ripoff. I huffed and walked to my tent, though annoyed at the lost opportunity, I didn't care as much as the other campers. It was dark by now, and no one was really in the mood to do anything, so David just sent us all to our tents. I flopped onto my 'bed' and popped in my earbuds. Neil entered a few minutes later. I didn't register if he said anything, soothing darkness soon clouded my vison as I slipped away.

I blinked awake to see a light blue-green ceiling. Wait, where was I? Home. Home? What? I sat up and looked around. I was on a king bed with a white and yellow color sceme, covered in pillows. The room was quite big with a dark dresser and mirror on the opposite wall and two doors in the far corner. One opened to a hallway flooding with natural light while the other remained closed. Where's it go? Closet. How do I know that? Though I knew I've never seen this place before, it seemed oddly familiar. Then there was a noise. A tapping? The light pitter-patter got slightly louder as it approached the open door. I got up to investigate, but three feet from the door, something stepped into my view. A little girl, 2, maybe 3.

She was wearing a lavender and white onesie. The hood had teddy bear ears and covered most of her black curls. She reached both hands out to me, "Mmh!" Her big eyes focused on me, my eyes. They shone a bright, sparkling green. I bent down and picked up the adorable toddler, assuming that's what she wanted. She fit perfectly in my arms, like they were made just for her. I must've guessed correctly, because she giggled and smiled. Up close, I could now make out the blues mixed in the patterns of her eyes and small, light freckles littering the bridge of her carmel nose. She pointed left, my right, down the hall, so I obliged. It was at this point, I noticed I was taller, like by a lot. I'd probably be almost to David's shoulders.

The hall lead to a pale blue colored living room with a dark couch and loveseat. No lights were on, but the light from the big, uncovered windows was more than enough. Soft music was coming from my left, there was a doorway, no door, to another open room, a kitchen. The cabinets were light brown with granite countertops. There was now and overwhelming smell of food. There was a man at the stove and messing with a waffle maker. He wore a sky blue robe with the words "Bad Boy" written in dark pink thread. "Mmh!" The girl squealed and started wriggling in my grasp. I let her down and she skipped to the man, slightly pulling on the robe to get his attention.

"Hey, Lexi-Lex!" He smiled and bent down, handing her a piece if bacon, "how's my little bun-bun?" She giggled at the nickname, but I hardly registered it. I could now see part of his face, and I had no doubt who it was. Neil. I gasped and recoiled in surprise, which he noticed. "Something wrong?" Neil asked, raising an eyebrow and turning to fully face me. I just shook my head, unable to speak for a moment. He nodded and stood back up, continuing his work. D******mn. Time has been good to him. No. Stop it gay thoughts, not the time. I wandered back to the living room, admiring the many pictures on the walls and furniture.

I picked one up, it was of older Neil and what looked like and older version of myself. The beautiful girl was between us, on my lap. I smiled and set it back down, observing the other array of pictures. There were some of who I assume to be me, some of Neil, some of both of us, some of the girl, some of all of us. One in particular caught my attention. It was a picture of her wearing a blue, poofy dress and smiling. The frame was made of popsicle sticks and the name "Alexin" written in sloppy handwriting, most likely hers. (Yes i kno 'alex' is a name everyone uses for the love child of this ship but i thought of it before i knew that and im not changing it so ya) I reached out to pick up the picture when I noticed something.

A ring. On my finger. It was a black band with white gold stringing through it in intricate twists around a small diamond in the center. I stroked my hand along with the ring. Tears welled up in my eyes, I couldn't control them. "Papai!" (Yes i spelled it like that on purpose fite me) An excited voice rung behind me. Her smiling face became that of concern as she looked upon me. I automatically held my arms out to her, to which she hopped into. "What's wrong Papai?" The toddler, Lexi, whispered. "I-I'm ok," my voice startled me, it was different. Lexi looked at me skeptically for a few moments, she wasn't having any of it, and quickly jerked towards the kitchen.

"Daddy! Papai's crying!" Ah, sh*t. There was a small bang then fast approaching footsteps. Neil's head whipped around the corner and he had on a determined face. I backed up a little as he advanced. Lexi giggled and clung to me. I smiled too, "You'll never get me alive!" I shouted jumping over the couch and running passed him through the hall. I knew where I was going. I knew every nook in the house...that I've never been to before in my life. There was a room upstairs that had all kinds of gaming systems and a bar in the corner. I slid behind in and motioned for the giggling bundle in my arms to be quiet. She nodded and laughed silently. A few moments later, the door swung open. It was completely silent. Footsteps approached the bar.

Once he was about 2 feet from the bar, I hopped up and ran passed him once again. "Oh, come on!" He yelled, now running after us. Before I could run out to the backyard, Neil scooped me up. "D*mnit," I huffed. Lexi just giggled and hugged both of us. "So, you gonna tell me what's wrong?" He teased. I smirked and stuck out my tongue, "Nuh uh." "Uh oh," Lexi said playfully and jumped out of my grasp, running back to the kitchen, "Papai's in troublllllleeee." "You gotta tell me," Neil said. He set me down now, but still pressed me to his chest and rubbed my back. I brought up my left hand and admired the ring again. He held it in his hand and stroked my hand with his thumb. A gold and rose gold ring shadowed mine on his own finger.

"I honestly don't know," I managed, eyes never leaving our intertwined hands. Neil kissed my forehead softly. My cheeks warmed as the tears started to come back. This was too much information for me to process. "Are you ok now?" A sweet voice asked from the doorway. "Yes," I responded, sniffling a bit. She walked to us and wrapped her little arms around my legs. "It's ok, Papai." Another tear fell. A happy tear. I picked up the angel at my feet, my angel. Our angel. "I'm ok Lex," I whispered, kissing all over her face. Neil's grip tightened on both of us and face cuddled me. We all fell to the floor laughing, still tangled in a perfect embrace.

I jolted awake, sitting upright and looking around disorientally. Where am I?! Where's my baby?!? I eagerly glanced around, I was in my tent. Neil was sleeping in his own bed. The ring was no longer on my finger. What is going on? I asked myself. It all felt so real. Compared to those memories, this very moment felt like a dream. Shaking my head, I slipped of my bed and sashyed towards the tent entrance. But, I stopped by Neil's bedside, he had the biggest, goofy smile ever. Must've been a good dream. Outside, almost everyone else was already up. They were all rambling about the amazing dreams they all had last night. So apparently, that was our glimpse at our future selves that the time-traveler-man promised us. Nikki was squealing about winning a volleyball tournament and then a sleepover afterward to celebrate.

She said that she guessed she was about 19 in the 'dream', I wondered how old I was. Neil strode from the tent a little while later, and I filled him in on what was going on. "So what happened in your dream Max?" Nikki asked, suddenly. Neil raised an eyebrow and looked at me expectantly. "You haven't talked about it at all," she added. I shrugged and smirked, "Nah." They continued to stare at me, confused. "What do you mean, 'Nah.'? Just tell uuuuuussss," Nikki complained while Neil looked away. "What about, you Neil?" He snapped back towards me at the sound of his name, "What'd you see, hmmmmmm?" I was honestly curious, I wanted to know if he saw the same as me. He took one look at me and smirked, "'Nah.'" He turned away to walk to the Mess Hall, but not before I noticed a slight blush on his cheeks.

Wanna know what neil saw? Leave a comment if u do. I really liked this one so i hope it was good enough. Bai.
