Felix did have to go because he had to eat dinner but he also had to go because his mom was calling him downstairs. He wasn't going to tell Jisung that part for obvious reasons, and his mom didn't sound mad so he didn't want to make Jisung freak out over nothing

"Yeah mom?" Felix asked once he got downstairs

"We are having another dinner with Hyunae and her family tomorrow night so come home right after school okay?" His mom asked sweetly and Felix nodded

"Have you hung out with Hyunae? Do you see her in school?" His mom asked

"Yes" Felix said even though he hadn't yet hung out with Hyunae outside of school

"Good, you guys will look great together. Maybe you should ask her to be your girlfriend at the dinner" his mom said with a smile

"I don't think we are that close yet, Hyunae is also really pretty and popular so she might already be dating someone" Felix explained, trying to come up with some type of excuse

"I don't think so, I think she liked you too" his mom smiled again and Felix internally sighed

"We'll see, I'm gonna go eat food now" Felix said trying to get out of the conversation and away from his mom

"Wait Felix, you haven't hung out with that disgusting Jisung boy anymore right?"

Felix wanted to scream at his mom that Jisung wasn't disgusting and that he was an amazing person but he knew his mom would get mad so he didn't

"Okay good, I don't want his horrible influences to rub off on you again" his mom said with a gross look on her face

Felix didn't say anything else because he didn't want to take that chance of saying too much so he just walked into the kitchen to make food
